For more than 100 years the Wisconsin Veterans Museum has preserved the memories of Wisconsin’s military veterans. As a member you will experience what makes the Wisconsin Veterans Museum a special place – great exhibits, educational offerings, and special events. Best of all, you’ll join a group of individuals who value the legacy of Wisconsin’s military veterans as much as you do! Gift memberships are also available. Memberships at specified levels are offered: * Individual * Family * Supporting * Sustaining * Lifetime * Corporate/Organizational, and * Sustaining Corporate/Organizational.

  • Make a Gift: For more than 100 years the Wisconsin Veterans Museum has preserved the stories of Wisconsin veterans. Now you can join the effort! Help us ensure we continue to educate the public through the museum’s virtual programming and award-winning exhibits. Donations to the Wisconsin Veterans Museum Foundation (WVMF) support the following museum projects:
    • Educational programs & resources
    • Artifact acquisitions
    • New exhibits
    • Battleflag conservation
  • Veterans Legacy Society: For more than 100 years the Wisconsin Veterans Museum has preserved the stories of Wisconsin’s veterans. Now you can join the effort! For as little as $25 dollars a month, your sustaining membership ensures the legacies of our Wisconsin men and women who served in the military, are honored in perpetuity. Best of all, you will join a group of individuals who value the legacy of Wisconsin’s veterans.
  • Planned Giving
    • Gifts of Appreciated Stock: A contribution of long-term appreciated securities entitles you to a charitable deduction equal to the fair market value of the securities. This option allows you to avoid paying capital gains taxes on these securities.
    • Charitable Remainder Trusts: The Wisconsin Veterans Museum Foundation offers several ways for you to make a gift while retaining income for yourself and/or another beneficiary through charitable remainder trusts.

Gifts in honor or in memory of your special friend/relative will receive special recognition in the Wisconsin Veterans Museum’s quarterly publication, The Bugle.

  • Donate to the Collections: The Wisconsin Veterans Museum will consider for donation military items such as: equipment * personal items * and souvenirs, as well as * archival material * diaries * letters * photographs, and * books where there is a significant tie to Wisconsin. We also would like to collect * oral histories of service members.

Volunteer: At the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, volunteers contribute their unique talents, skills, and life experiences to help further the mission of the museum. We have many opportunities for volunteers ranging from museum tour guides to oral history transcribers, and everything in between.

Internships: Interns working at The Wisconsin Veterans Museum will gain valuable experience working alongside professional staff members in a tutorial setting. Internships offer training in museum collections and exhibits, archival administration and reference, marketing, and museum administration. We offer different internship opportunities that may be used for school credit.
