From weddings and anniversaries to meetings and luncheons, the Ward Museum can accommodate all of your needs. You can take control over the services you would like to utilize thanks to our rate schedule. We want you to have the most unique and memorable occasion. Let us know any special needs and requests you may have, and we will make every effort to make your event a success. The Ward Museum grounds and building blend together to create an atmosphere not found anywhere else on the Eastern Shore. Access to our nature trail and museum galleries will make your event encompass your love for nature, art, and tradition in one location. Four distinctive spaces are available:
- Atrium Lobby: Have your wedding ceremony, baby shower, book signing, or birthday party in our Atrium Lobby. This room is ideal for daytime and evening events. The Atrium Lobby features a three-story view of the beautiful Schumaker Pond, providing a magnificent backdrop to formal and informal occasions. Make it cozy, we can arrange the space for an intimate event, while maintaining the beautiful views.
- John A. Luetkemeyer and Thomas F. Mullan Jr. Legacy Center: This state-of-the-art room features 2,200 square-feet of space, glass walls, with the elegant backdrop of Schumaker Pond. Our Legacy Center is perfect for receptions, banquets, dance parties, educational lectures, and workshops. The room can also be divided into three separate spaces to meet your needs. The Legacy Center and offers stunning views, indoor and outdoor amenities, premier hardwood floors, and private restrooms. The room also comes with two 80 inch displays, a sound system, and wireless microphones available at an additional charge.
- Richard A. Henson Education Center: The Richard A. Henson Education Room is well suited for meetings and presentations. Equipped with an 80 inch screen and an audio system, this space is an excellent space to host small parties, meetings, and workshops. This space is suitable for classroom style, lecture style, and boardroom seating.
- Victor Oristano Meeting Room: Host your meeting, presentation, or workshop in our Victor Oristano Meeting Room. This space features an 80 inch display and a classroom sound system at an additional cost. Give a stronger delivery on your presentation with the use of our dimmable lights. The room comes with 6′ tables and comfortable cushioned chairs that can be easily moved during your workshops. Also included in the space is a small preparation area complete with a counter space and full size refrigerator.

There are many ways to get involved with the Ward Museum! As you learn more about the museum you will soon discover that we have established relationships with our members and supporters that extend into the community and beyond.
Membership
Membership has its benefits! Whether you are an avid outdoorsman, an artist or someone who just appreciates art, you will see significant value in a membership at the Ward Museum. With your membership you receive many benefits. The greatest benefit is the free admission to the galleries. The permanent galleries offer a unique opportunity to examine many previous Ward World Carving Competition winners and see how techniques and trends in wildfowl carving have evolved over the years. Likewise, the changing galleries offer a range from single-artist retrospectives to cultural surveys that explore specific topics relevant to the local and regional communities. By the same token, if you are not able to take advantage of the free admission you can stay connected through the museum’s journal, which you receive with your membership. Not only does this journal keep you up-to-date with the happenings of the museum, it offers articles relating to art, nature and tradition. Membership at specified levels is offered: * Individual * Family * Friends * Wild Goose Club * Golden Goose Society, and * Benefactor Society.

Over more than 50 years, the Ward Foundation – the 501c3 nonprofit that runs the Ward Museum – has relied on the generosity of individuals and businesses. Your contributions are essential to the success and growth of the Ward Museum. Thank you! You make all the difference in helping the Ward Museum to continue its mission. Your support allows us to impact tens of thousands of school children, visitors, artists, and others each year. Every gift helps the Ward Museum continue as an educational and cultural resource. Tribute and memorial gifts are encouraged.

- Planned Giving: The Wild Goose Society recognizes and honors those friends and members of the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art who has made a commitment to the future of this institution by including the Museum in their estate plans. Wild Goose Society members are recognized on a plaque in the museum and receive VIP invitations and recognition.

- Annual Raffle: Each year the Ward Museum raffles a Ward Brothers decoy to benefit the Ward Foundation, the nonprofit that runs the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, Salisbury University. Traditionally, the winning ticket is pulled during the annual Ward World Championship.
Volunteer: Join a growing group of enthusiastic people who enjoy art, nature and tradition in all the facets of the Ward Museum. Volunteers carry out the mission of the Ward Museum in every way and support efforts to preserve and promote regional cultural traditions. There are a variety of volunteer needs, including special events, mailing, gallery openings, and education programs.
