Not only is a membership beneficial to you, it is a great benefit to the Center. It helps us generate operating funds and it also helps us as we seek grant funds from private foundations. And, having more of the Community involved in our Center helps it grow and be a cultural and educational treasure for all of our students and us. Memberships also make great gifts that give all year long. Membership at specified levels is offered: Individual * Family, and * Grandparent.

Umpqua Discovery Center Treasure Chest – 501(C)3: The mission of the Umpqua Discovery Center Treasure Chest is to raise funds for exhibits and education programs for the Umpqua Discovery Center. The Umpqua Discovery Center strives to instill public appreciation of our unique coastal heritage and encourage thoughtful participation regarding the future of our resources.

Volunteer: Get Connected. As a volunteer at the Umpqua Discovery Center, you will receive a number of benefits in addition to knowing that you’re contributing to a team that makes the Museum special. You’ll have the chance to greet the public and make new friends who share some of the same interests. You also can expand your interests with specialized education and training. Each year, the Museum holds a special event at which it recognizes its volunteers. Based on hours of service, you also receive free guest passes for friends and relatives.
