The Mob Museum is Las Vegas‘s most arresting venue where you can throw a private event that will top anyone’s most wanted list. Located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, the Museum is housed in the historic former federal courthouse and U.S. Post Office, meticulously restored to its original grandeur. Travel back in time to the Prohibition era, when thousands of speakeasies operating in hard-to-find places satisfied the nation’s thirst for forbidden spirits. Informative and entertaining exhibits, videos and artifacts tell the stories of the Roaring Twenties, which saw the rise of flappers, jazz and the Mob. The speakeasy exhibit is built around a well-stocked bar and space for a stage for evening entertainment, creating a lively environment inspired by that bygone age. The Underground at The Mob Museum can accommodate groups as small as 10 or as large as 130 for all types of private events. Combine it with the other 3 floors of The Mob Museum and we can accommodate up to 730 guests total. Seven distinctive spaces are available:

• The Underground: An immersive Prohibition history exhibit space featuring a distillery, speakeasy and private VIP room located in the basement of The Mob Museum. Surrounded by artifacts from the 1920s, experience Prohibition-era craft cocktails in our speakeasy and tour our on-site distillery for a taste of the past.
• The Speakeasy: Travel back in time to the Prohibition era, when thousands of speakeasies operating in hard-to-find places satisfied the nation’s thirst for forbidden spirits.
  • Maximum capacity: 90 guests reception style / Existing seating to accommodate 50 guests / All guests must be 21 or older
• The Distillery: Visit the distillery to learn the stories of bootleggers, rum runners and the government agencies who tried to take them down. The centerpiece is a working copper still that produces moonshine so you, too, can have a taste of this formerly forbidden engine of American commerce.
  • Maximum capacity: 30 guests reception style / 28 guests seated in rounds / 27 guests theater-style
• Oscar B. Goodman Room: Formerly office space for the U.S. Attorney and Assistant U.S. Attorney, this versatile, private room is a great setting for business meetings and social gatherings alike. Located on the 3rd floor, the room features large windows, two built-in screens, Wi-Fi and framed photographs of old Las Vegas from the Las Vegas News Bureau collection.
  • Maximum capacity: 30 guests seated / 40 guests reception style / 20 guests boardroom
• The Historic Courtroom: In November 1950, the courtroom was the location of the Kefauver Hearings, which were led by the U.S. Congress. Hearings were held across the country to determine the influence of the mob on American society. During normal Museum hours the courtroom appears as it did in 1950, complete with historic furniture.
  • Maximum capacity: 160 guests reception style / 140 guests seated
• The Mob Museum Buyout: Book the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the historic Mob Museum building.
  • Maximum capacity: 600 guests reception style / 330 guests seated in rounds
• The Fitting Room: Exclusive use of The Underground’s elegant VIP room.
  • Maximum capacity:10 guests

WEDDINGS AT THE MOB MUSEUM: The Mob Museum is Las Vegas’ most arresting venue where you can throw a wedding that will top anyone’s most wanted list. Located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, the Museum is housed in the historic former federal courthouse and U.S. Post Office, meticulously restored to its original grandeur. Our on-site services include preferred catering, entertainment, production and other options to make your big day truly spectacular. With a variety of wedding packages, we can accommodate most budgets in our exclusive space:

• VINTAGE VEGAS WEDDING: Host your ceremony and reception in the historic Courtroom. This package includes an officiant, bouquet, boutonnière, wedding music, three hours of professional photography and a souvenir photo frame. Reception includes three hours of an open bar and table-side beverage service, a classic, three-course plated meal, tiered wedding cake, elegant centerpieces and upgraded satin table linens and a DJ for three hours.
• CHAMPAGNE PACKAGE: Host your ceremony and reception in the historic Courtroom. This package includes an officiant, bouquet, boutonnière, wedding music, three hours of professional photography and a souvenir photo frame. Reception includes a Champagne toast, three hours of an open bar, an elegant sit-down dinner, tiered wedding cake, and a DJ for three hours. All guests will have access to the Museum.
• ALL-IN LOVE: Host your ceremony and reception in the historic Courtroom. This package includes an officiant, bouquet, boutonnière, wedding music, three hours of photography and a souvenir photo frame. Reception includes an open bar and buffet, and a DJ for three hours. All guests will have access to the Museum.
• PETITE CELEBRATION – Buffet:  Host your ceremony in the historic Courtroom and your reception in the Oscar B. Goodman room. This package includes an officiant, bouquet, boutonnière, wedding music, one hour of professional photography and a souvenir photo frame. The reception includes three hours open bar and buffet.
• MOONSHINE WEDDING: Host your ceremony in The Distillery for up to 24 guests. This package includes a wedding officiant, bouquet, boutonnière and one hour of photography. After the ceremony, enjoy a two-hour cocktail party in The Distillery with samples of The Mob Museum’s house-distilled Moonshine and a 750 mL souvenir bottle.
• MARRIED TO THE MOB: Let us take care of the details. Host your ceremony in the historic Courtroom. We’ll provide an officiant, bouquet, boutonnière, music and one hour of professional photography. Guests will also have access to the Museum.

FILMING REQUESTS: Film and photo shoots are generally scheduled to take place on weekday mornings between 7 and 9 a.m., before the Museum is open to the public. Other accommodations may be scheduled, depending on availability.
