The Kranzberg Arts Foundation offers unique event venues perfect for any occasion!

Whether you are planning an intimate party or a large gathering, the Kranzberg Arts Foundation can help make your next event a success. We operate various venues across St. Louis’ Grand Center Arts District that are customizable and capable of meeting all of your needs! Hosting your event at one of our venues means you will get to enjoy striking views of the vibrant Grand Center Arts District. Being in the epicenter of the arts, your guests will be surrounded by creativity and fun that only enhances the festivities. Our one-of-a-kind rental spaces are sought after for a range of celebrations and special events, including:

  • Weddings – From showers and rehearsals to ceremonies and receptions, the Kranzberg Arts Foundation can accommodate all of your wedding event needs!
  • Private events – We host a variety of parties, showers, galas, and fundraisers for groups of all sizes!
  • Corporate meetings – Use our venue to get down to business at your convention or workshop, or take a much-needed break at your work party, awards ceremony, or company retreat!

The Kranzberg Arts Foundation can help you pull off the perfect gathering—no matter what size guest list you need to accommodate. From party rooms to grand halls, our venues offer a gorgeous space you can personalize for all types of functions.

We not only provide exquisite venues, but our talented team can also assist you in your event planning down to the last detail! We offer a carefully curated list of  * Caterers *  Florists * Photographers * Audio/visual equipment providers * Musicians * DJs * Transportation, and * More, so you don’t have to worry about any aspect. Seven distinctive spaces are available:

  • THE URBAN BALLROOM: A fourth-floor, private event space with full-service catering options. The Urban Ballroom features panoramic views of downtown St. Louis, a customizable layout, and in-house bridal spa. A perfect venue for any event up to 450 people.
    • Capacity: Seated 250 / Cocktail Reception: 350
  • SALLY’S ROOFTOP GARDEN & TERRACE:  A private rooftop event space and food garden with extraordinary views of St. Louis. The garden, run by Urban Harvest STL provides an ideal backdrop for your next event.
      • Capacity: Theatre Reception: 200 / Cocktail Reception: 150
  • SOPHIE”S ARTIST LOUNGE: A meeting place for artists, resident arts organizations, and patrons of the arts.
    • Capacity: Cocktail Reception: 50 guests
  • LISTENING ROOM:  A Literary Arts Cafe dedicated to the freedom of expression through spoken and written word.
    • Capacity: Seated 60 / Cocktail Reception: 125
  • THE GRAND HALL (THE GRANDEL): A beautiful private event venue with cathedral ceilings, stain glass windows, and beautiful hardwood floors. The Grand Hall is perfect for events for 50-200 people.
    • Capacity: Seated: 130 / Cocktail Reception: 200
  • THE BIG TOP (Home to Circus Flora): Located at 3401 Washington Boulevard, The Big Top is a multi-use arts venue opened in 2018. Featuring the 1,200 person Big Top, a private VIP Tent, and a concessions tent, the site is available from March through October.
    • Capacity: Seated 700 / Cocktail Reception: 1,600
  • THE LOUNGE:
    • Capacity: Seated 60 / Cocktail Receptions: 125
