Our award-winning spaces will make the perfect venue for your next unforgettable event. Our experienced events staff and catering team will guide you and help you flawlessly execute your plan. Facilities are available to rent for: Corporate Events * Private Parties * Weddings.  Five distinctive spaces are available:

  • Walter and Leonore Annenberg Court and Terrace: Adjacent to the Collection Gallery, the light-filled Annenberg Court is a versatile space that can be adapted for events of all kinds. The court opens onto an expansive terrace overlooking the lush landscape along the Parkway.
    • Reception (standing): 800 guests
    • Dinner (seated): 350 – 400 guests
  • Frances M. Maguire Garden Pavilion: With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a leafy courtyard, the Maguire Garden Pavilion offers a tranquil setting for receptions of up to 100 guests. The event space encourages relaxation yet also houses top-of-the-line audio-visual equipment to meet any business needs.
    • Meeting: 70 guests
    • Classroom-style: 50 guests
    • Reception (standing): 75 – 85 guests
    • Dinner (seated): 60 guests
  • Lower Lobby Suite: Natural light from the Gallery Garden—an open-air atrium planted with sweet gum, ginkgo trees, and a variety of ferns—illuminates this comfortable lower-lobby space often used for cocktail parties. Native American ceramics and jewelry, the only collection pieces displayed outside the galleries, add artistic flair.
    • Reception (standing): 125 guests
    • Dinner (seated): 70 – 80 guests
  • The Garden Restaurant: Our restaurant and adjacent garden provide a lovely setting for private dinners and cocktail receptions. With transitional glass walls and an open kitchen, the Garden Restaurant can transform from casual t formal for a relaxed get-together or a black-tie affair.
    • Reception (standing): 75 guests
    • Dinner (seated): 50 guests
  • Comcast NBCUniversal Auditorium: This fully equipped auditorium is custom made for presentations, lectures, and symposia. The Barnes Foundation’s modern design and architectural elements are carried through in the room’s hardwood stage, hand-chiseled limestone wall panels, and cognac-color leather seats.
    • Capacity: 140 guests

The exclusive caterer of the Barnes Foundation, Constellation Culinary Group will create an unforgettable culinary experience for you and your guests, with custom menus and an impeccably precise service plan to match the mission of your event.   • Offering a casual dining experience, Garden Restaurant is open for lunch, brunch, and cocktails. Featuring Farm-to-Table, American, and Contemporary American cuisine. Gluten Free Menu available.
  • Reflections Café offers soup, sandwiches, salads, espresso drinks, and sweet treats. Indoor and covered outdoor seating available.

Donations to the Annual Fund support areas of greatest need at the Barnes. Your 100% tax-deductible gift will help fund programs including arts education for both children and adults, the conservation of artworks in our collection, and the development of special exhibitions.

  • Exhibition Fund: Special exhibitions at the Barnes Foundation are designed to engage our diverse and growing audience while revealing new perspectives for experiencing the permanent collection. Gifts to the Exhibition Fund directly support all activities related to exhibition production, including curatorial research, planning, art transport, exhibition design, installation, and publications.
  • Planned Giving: Making a planned gift is a thoughtful way to contribute to the future of the Barnes and to create a legacy that will inspire other art and horticulture enthusiasts for generations to come.

  • Donor-Advised Funds: The Barnes Foundation accepts one time or recurring contributions through donor-advised funds (DAF).

Volunteer: Volunteering at the Barnes provides unique access to our collections, programs, and staff, as well as opportunities to work with other art and horticulture enthusiasts. We accept general volunteers in a variety of departments in our Philadelphia campus, from archives to conservation to visitor services.

Internships: We offer summer internships in a variety of departments for undergraduate and graduate students. Our interns work with experts in their fields, gain valuable job experience, and engage in meaningful work.
