Donations:

The Automobile Driving Museum is an outstanding testament to the preservation of history. As the museum continues to grow and add cars to its collection, we are grateful to our sponsors and friends who help us maintain our facility, keep our cars in working condition and enable our educational programs to grow and thrive. As a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, the museum depends on the generosity and support from its private and corporate sponsors. Your gift to the museum is tax deductible.

  • Adopt-A-Car: The Adopt-A-Car program is an opportunity for individuals, families, car clubs, businesses, and other organizations to be recognized for their investment in the care of the Museum’s vehicles. Choose any vehicle owned and displayed by the Museum. Vehicles are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and can only be adopted by one party at a time. Available vehicles may also be viewed on the Museum website. Vehicles can be adopted for a period of six months
  • Corporate Sponsorship: The Automobile Driving Museum’s welcomes corporate sponsorships which aid in our mission to preserve automotive history and share it with the public.
  • Rides for Warriors: The Automobile Driving Museum has partnered with Operation Mend and The Veteran Administration to offer special experiences to our veterans. Operation Mend, through UCLA, transports vets around the nation to their hospital throughout the year for medical and psychological assistance. The Veteran Administration works with local vets living in the area. The Museum offers two events per month—one for UCLA and one for the Vets Administration. We offer the veterans rides in our classic and collector cars, lunch at a local restaurant or catered to the museum, and ice cream in our 1950’s themed parlor. The Pin-Ups for Vets may come for photo opportunities with the guests. We hope you will consider a sponsorship or donation to this program. We would like to allow more veterans to visit us per month and more families to enjoy this together. As a blue star museum offering free admission to all active military duty families and veterans, this extends our support of their commitment to our country and shows our respect and belief in what they offer to all of us.
  • High School Restoration Program: Your support helps the Da Vinci High School students in this amazing hands-on GMC project! Students participating in this program are currently restoring our 1955 GMC Pickup truck! Students are receiving hands-on experience and have been tasked with the entire re-build of the GMC Pickup truck. With the help of volunteer docents to oversee the project, the students are working to build the automobile back to standards, making it run efficiently and effectively. The students, who are also a part of the Science school at Da Vinci, were handpicked for this program by their principal, Steve Wallace. The museum is committed to hosting two classes per week, and during this time our docents educate students in basic auto care and maintenance. The class was designed to focus on auto repair and restoration and the importance of auto shop classes… which have been written out of the common curriculum in recent years. By the end of this year’s (2020) school semester, our collective goal is for the students to have the GMC Pickup running and driving.

Volunteer: Like all museums the ADM relies heavily on Volunteers to conduct our day-to-day operations. At the ADM, we have Docents who lead tours, work in our restoration shop, organize the library, and drive our cars on Sundays and to special events. It’s a fun culture and family here. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering.
