Team Rubicon serves communities by mobilizing veterans to continue their service by leveraging their skills and experience to help people prepare, respond, and recover from disasters and humanitarian crises. Working alongside vulnerable communities to ensure sustainable long-term recovery is possible, it is thanks to your support that Greyshirt volunteers are ready to respond at a moment’s notice and come back if needs remain. Your donations go directly to our unrestricted Ready Reserve Fund which increases the efficiency and capacity of Team Rubicon‘s disaster response and humanitarian efforts.   • Support Squad: Behind every successful operation is group of individuals committed to supporting Team Rubicon’s mission of helping those affected by disaster. We call them the Support Squad. By investing in Team Rubicon with a monthly gift, the Support Squad allows us to forecast and plan responses, trainings, and exercises further into the future. A steady stream of support allows us to be more aggressive when responding to disasters, and to deploy more veterans and resources when needed. When you include Team Rubicon in your estate plan, your generosity helps provide immediate relief to those impacted by disasters and humanitarian crises around the world. • Transfer Appreciated Assets: Many donors prefer to make gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or exchange-traded funds because it can have a large impact on our mission, while maximizing potential tax benefits by avoiding paying tax on capital gains.
• Donor Advised Funds: A donor advised fund (DAF), which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Team Rubicon and other qualified charities.
