The Star-Spangled Banner Flag House and Museum preserves the history of the making of the Star-Spangled Banner Flag, promotes the legacy of craftswoman Mary Young Pickersgill, and inspires personal connections to Baltimore and American history through place-based learning and the interpretation of the diverse lives of individuals who lived in the historic house since 1793.

As a member of the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House, you can take advantage of a variety of benefits and member only experiences. Our members enjoy free museum admission, discounts in our Gift Shop, behind-the-scenes tours, invitations to Flag House signature events, discounts at area museums, and more. Your support allows us to offer the immersive experiences that make a visit to the Flag House memorable for adults and children alike. Hereditary Societies: Members of hereditary societies receive special benefits through the Flag House’s Sustaining Member and Benefactor program. Reciprocal Benefits: Star-Spangled Banner Flag House is part of the Time Travelers Program. Flag House members at the Patriot level and above receive a free reciprocal membership to historical museums, sites, and societies throughout the United States. The Missouri History Museum created the program in 1998 so that members of historical institutions could receive exclusive benefits and privileges at museums and historical sites nationwide. Currently, the Time Travelers program includes over 300 organizations in more than 40 states across the country. Members of these organizations can receive a variety of exclusive benefits and privileges, such as free admission, gift shop discounts, and much, much more. Flag House members at the Storm Flag level and above receive a GBHA admission pass, valid for general admission at over a dozen area museums.
