In addition to supporting the museum’s exhibits and programs, the Museum Members of the SD Agricultural Heritage Museum receive the Museum Newsletter 3 times a year, a 20% discount on books in the Museum Store and 10% discount on all other purchases and are invited to special member events, openings, and trips.   • Make a Donation: From school tours, to public lectures, to workshops, the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum connects curious minds of all ages to the importance of agriculture in their every day lives. Help us keep this programming free and open to the public by investing in our mission. Specified levels of giving are suggested.
  • Donate Artifacts to the Collection: The museum collects and preserves artifacts related to agricultural history and rural life. The Beckman Archive specialized in tractor and implement brochures, parts catalogs and advertising. The photograph archive specializes in photographs of farming activities in South Dakota. This archive includes still and motion pictures. The Museum’s library focuses on South Dakota agricultural history and personal stories relating to farming and ranching in South Dakota. If you have an object that you believe played a significant roll in South Dakota’s agricultural history, contact the Agricultural Heritage Museum.

Volunteer: Have you ever wondered what curators do behind the scenes? Are you looking for a way to learn new skills and meet new people? The SD Agricultural Heritage Museum has many opportunities to get involved and explore new things through our volunteer program.
