  • Summit Circle: The Sierra Club’s Summit Circle is a community of philanthropic leaders who change the world through grasstops advocacy, leveraging personal networks, and committing to an annual gift of $10,000 or more.

  • Gift in Your Will or Living Trust: You want to leave money to Sierra Club in your will. You also want the flexibility to change your will in the event that life circumstances change. You can do both. In as little as one sentence, you can complete your gift. This type of donation to Sierra Club in your will or living trust helps ensure that we continue our mission for years to come.
  • Life Income Gifts: There is a way for you to support the Sierra Club Foundation and feel confident that you have dependable income in your retirement years. You can do this with a charitable gift annuity. With a charitable gift annuity, you agree to make a gift to the Sierra Club Foundation and we, in return, agree to pay you (and someone else, if you choose) a fixed amount each year for the rest of your life. The balance is used to support our work. This type of donation can provide you with regular payments for life and allow the Sierra Club Foundation to further our mission. You can also qualify for a variety of tax benefits, including a federal income tax charitable deduction if you itemize.

This type of trust provides you or other named individuals income each year for life, or a period not exceeding 20 years, from assets you give to the trust you create. The Sierra Club Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity and serves as the fiscal sponsor for the Sierra Club‘s charitable environmental campaigns.
• Team Sierra: Hundreds of planet-lovers like you are donating birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings, or your favorite occasion, to support the Sierra Club. Create a personal Team Sierra page and raise money for our planet to celebrate a life, milestone, or special occasion. The funds you raise will do things like protect our nation’s water, land, and air, transition cities to 100% clean energy, and get people outdoors.
• Create Your Own Fundraiser: Thousands of you have created fundraisers raising millions of dollar for climate action. If this is your first time here, welcome! If you’re coming back, thanks for continue to advocate for the planet! So, what can you do raise money for the Sierra Club? We’ve got some ideas! Host a beach clean-up party, join your local 10K, get festive and create a holiday fundraiser, pledge an hour for every dollar raised to planting trees in your community — choose an activity that interests you and do some good along with it!
• Make a Commemorative Donation: Commemorative gifts offer a unique way to honor a special event, such as a wedding, anniversary or birthday, in the life of someone important to you. An attractive note is sent to the individuals being honored informing them of the gift and the identity of the donor. The gift amount will be kept confidential. You may include a special note (such as “Happy Birthday!”) to the recipient, if you wish.
• Make a Memorial Donation: By giving a memorial gift in memory of a family member or friend, you not only affirm your environmental values, but also recognize that these values were shared by the individual being honored. If you choose, we will send an acknowledgment in your name to friends or loved ones close to the individual being honored, informing them of the gift. The gift amount will be kept confidential. You may include a special note, if you wish.

Volunteer: Parks Project began with a volunteer day, and we believe that everyone can be stewards of our public lands. Whether it’s in a National Park, an iconic city park, or your local greenbelt, your help is needed!
