Volunteer: Volunteers are at the heart of Salisbury House & Gardens. They provide year-round support for many of our public events as well as assist with onsite projects and maintenance. As a volunteer, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at Salisbury House while ensuring guests receive a world-class, cultural experience. Everything from our largest events to daily activities are volunteer-based and we strive to provide a unique, positive experience for every volunteer. Volunteer opportunities include: * our tour guide program * helping in our gardens * assisting at public program events * various service projects, and * occasional opportunities for special volunteer roles. We are always seeking new tour guides to help lead the daily public tours here at Salisbury House. Candidates will be paired with a veteran tour guide for our One on One Tour Guide Program. Veteran guides will train you on all aspects of leading tours and interacting with our guests. We ask for a commitment of at least two shifts per month.
