Donations:

There’s a way for everyone to support the Science Center. Discover how you can play a pivotal role in the Science Center’s mission through a variety of ways.

  • Donate to the Annual Fund: Our mission to ignite and sustain lifelong science and technology learning is possible thanks to supporters just like you. By donating to the Annual Fund, you’re helping serve the St. Louis region with accessible science education experiences opening the world of STEAM to everyone, from families and teachers to students and our underserved communities through the daily operation of the Science Center, innovative STEAM education programs, events like SciFest and First Friday, as well as community outreach programs like Community Science and our Youth Exploring Science (YES) Program.
  • Donate to Youth Exploring Science: For more than 20 years, our Youth Exploring Science (YES) program has worked with underserved teens throughout their high school years to increase interest in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM). The YES teens work with our educators and STEAM professionals in the community to gain professional, academic and real-world skills that assist in building self-confidence and personal success. We work with community-based organizations that are committed to serving low-income families throughout the St. Louis area to recruit YES teens. Once recruited, the teens work directly with these organizations and our community partners to help facilitate science events and activities.
  • Donate to the Bridge to Future Campaign: In 2010, the Science Center embarked on the Bridge to the Future Campaign to support new and renewed facilities, exhibits and expanded education programs supporting science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM). We have raised over $55 million dollars thanks to you, our generous donors, members and partners throughout the community. Your tax-deductible gift will help us achieve our $60 million-dollar goal. When you support the Science Center’s Bridge to the Future Campaign, your generous gift makes the difference as we begin the next phase of the Campaign to transform the guest experience, introduce new technologies and celebrate the scientific and technological legacy of the St. Louis community. Your support makes a lasting impact by bringing a new century of science and technology learning to our region now and into the future.
  • Donate to the Summer Camp Scholarship Fund: Each summer the Science Center offers Science Blast Day Camps. These camps provide children aged 4-16 an opportunity to explore, create and discover science and technology in innovative and unique ways. Camps are led by highly trained counselors and educators who are passionate about teaching the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators and mathematicians. We want to make our camps available to all children regardless of their backgrounds, and to do this we provide a limited number of need-based scholarships to our campers. Your support could provide a child with the opportunity to explore subjects from dinosaurs to aerospace. Your gift could help spark a million questions in a child’s mind leading to a lifetime of discoveries.
  • Donate with Amazon Smile: Support the Saint Louis Science Center Foundation by using Amazon Smile! Visit smile.amazon.com (the same Amazon you know), and select the ‘Saint Louis Science Center Foundation’ as the charitable organization of your choosing. Then, do your shopping like normal!
  • Support us with Prairie Farms, Our Caps Your Cause: Drink Prairie Farms and Give What Mooves You! Support the Saint Louis Science Center by drinking Prairie Farms Milk or Iced Coffee and saving your caps.
  • Tribute Gifts: A tribute gift offers a meaningful way to honor or remember a special person or celebrate an important occasion in a way that supports science and technology learning in the St. Louis community. Whether you’re honoring someone close to you who geeks out for dinosaurs, astronomy or technology, commemorating a special occasion like a birthday, bat mitzvah or graduation, or remembering the life of a loved one, a tribute gift can be a unique way to celebrate a science supporter in your life while making a positive impact through the mission of the Science Center.
  • Planned Giving: Contribute to the Saint Louis Science Center’s future by planning for a special gift that will help ensure our ability to inspire future generations of science and technology learners. With a planned gift you can enjoy charitable income and/or gift or estate tax deductions while leaving a legacy for the Saint Louis Science Center. Planned giving donors are recognized for their legacy of commitment through induction into the Marie and Pierre Curie Society.
  • Corporate Giving: A corporate partnership with the Saint Louis Science Center provides unparalleled opportunities to both support one of the only free nonprofit science museums in the country and increase your brand visibility in the community. Explore how organizations, businesses or corporations of any size can partner with the Saint Louis Science Center through an expansive range of sponsorship levels.

Volunteer: Ignite guests’ passion for science by volunteering with the Saint Louis Science Center. Our volunteers take on roles throughout the museum, helping us bring our mission to life while providing unforgettable experiences for our guests.
