There are several ways that you can help preserve New Mexico’s unique agricultural heritage and support future educational programs and exhibits at the Museum.

Membership:

Joining the Friends of the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum makes you a Museum member and your financial donation helps make it possible for others to learn and enjoy our state’s agricultural history. In return, Museum members receive benefits such as free admission, a 10-percent discount at the Heart of the Desert Gift Shop, as well as a subscription to the Museum’s annual magazine. Gift memberships are also available. Joining the Friends of the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Museum helps make it possible for others to learn and enjoy our state’s agricultural history. Annual memberships at specified levels are offered: * Student * Individual/Couple * Family * Pioneer * Legacy, and * Lifetime. Business/Corporate memberships at specified levels are offered: * Regular Corporate * Sustaining Corporate, and * Benefactor Corporate.

Donations:

You can also support the Museum by donating time as a volunteer or donating artifacts to our collections. We encourage Museum members and anyone else who believes in our mission to contact their legislators and voice their support.

  • Make a Donation: Do you want to strengthen the museum’s programs? Expand its collections? Extend its outreach? Donate to the Friends of the Museum today. Memorial donations are also available.
  • Donate an Artifact: The New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum staff is eager to speak with you about a possible donation of artifacts, books/magazines, farm equipment manuals, or old photographs and archival materials.
  • The Farm & Ranch Community License Plate: You can support the Museum’s education programs by obtaining one of New Mexico’s specialty license plates.

Volunteer: Volunteer today! We welcome you to the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum. All of our volunteers are Museum ambassadors, regardless of the tasks they perform. We bring the past to life and use cutting edge technologies in order to engage guests – whether they are preschoolers or the young-at-heart.
