My Old Kentucky Home is one of the most iconic 19th-century homes in America. Named for America’s first composer Stephen Foster’s sentimental ballad, “My Old Kentucky Home, Good-Night!,” the Federal style mansion was completed in the year 1818 and was the centerpiece of a 1,300 acre plantation. My Old Kentucky Home sits at the crossroads of east and west, north and south – perfectly positioned for guests traveling from across the country. This historic mansion is now part of the My Old Kentucky Home State Park. Located in Bardstown, Kentucky, and voted “America’s Best Small Town,” couples and guests alike can enjoy charming downtown shopping, lively bourbon bars and restaurants, golf, day spas, distillery tours, and more. 

My Old Kentucky Home‘s mansion and grounds include several distinctive rental settings, some of which are only available seasonally. Rental spaces include the 4,000 square foot Rotunda with a capacity of 350; the Magnolia Room for groups of 30 set in either theater or banquet style; the Veranda/Colonnade can be set for 250 as a banquet or 300 for a reception; and a 2,200 square foot Ballroom with a capacity for 200 as a theater or banquet, 150 for a classroom, and 300 set as a reception. These spaces, along with the Carriage House and Formal Gardens, are available for * Weddings * Events * Corporate Gatherings, and * Government Meetings.
