The Museum of the Mississippi Delta (MoMD)is the perfect venue for your special occasion. Two distinctive spaces are available:
- Main Art Gallery: This modern, open space is perfect for receptions and parties. With walls adorned with works of art from the Museum’s permanent collection or rotating exhibitions of some of Mississippi’s best artists, the high ceilings and natural skylight create the perfect backdrop for any occasion. This gallery is equipped with SONOS for listening to your favorite music.
- Capacity: Seated – 100 guests; Standing – 150 guests
- Delta Community Room: The Delta Community Room is ideal for small luncheons, dinners, and receptions, meetings and presentations, showers, and birthday celebrations. The space is complete with an integrated podium and full audio and visual equipment (in-ceiling projector and screen).
- Capacity: Seated – 50 guests
- 800 square feet

The Museum of the Mississippi Delta has been serving the public for over 50 years, offering excellence in exhibitions and programs. Each year visitors from around the world find their way to Greenwood to experience a piece of the Mississippi Delta whose mission is collecting, preserving and interpreting the art, history and natural science of this unique region
Membership
We are able to achieve our mission through support of members like you. Membership at specified levels are offered: * Arrowhead (Senior) * Artist * Tribal (Family) * Cannon * Cotton * Malmaison, and * Star of the West.
Donation
The Museum appreciates the support of our members and benefactors whose donations help to preserve the rich history and cultural experience of life in the Delta. You can make a gift to the Museum through a customized cash amount, a memorial for a loved one or friend, through a bequest in a will, or by designating the Museum as the beneficiary in a life insurance policy. The Museum of the Mississippi Delta Educational and Research Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Your contributions are tax deductible.
