First class events. Each and every time. The Museum of Fine Arts provides the quintessential St. Petersburg experience with sophistication and elegance. Invite guests to see centuries of art, breathtaking paintings, and impressive sculptures while celebrating your occasion. Stunning event spaces at the Museum include a classic ballroom with enchanting crystal chandeliers, beautiful gardens with lush foliage, and a sleek, contemporary Conservatory overlooking the bay. Partner with our expert team to make your celebration imaginative and memorable. During your consultation, we will be certain to understand your vision so that we can customize an event that reflects your signature style. All aspects of your event will be carefully considered so that your guests will walk away from the experience with unforgettable memories. Five distinctive rental spaces are offered:

  • Conservatory and Terrace: The two-story glass Conservatory overlooks the bay captivating guests with its spectacular view. Adjoined to the Conservatory is the terrace which sits across from the bay, bringing guests a true Florida experience. In addition to the terrace, the Conservatory has access to the newest Galleries which host traveling exhibitions. These Galleries are available for your guests to enjoy during your event. Conservatory Accommodations:
    • 6,180 square ft.
    • Standing Reception: 500 guests
    • Banquet with a stage or dance floor: 260 guests
    • Banquet without a stage or dance floor: 300 guests
  • Marly Room (includes both Gardens): The Marly Room is an elegant ballroom in the heart of the Museum of Fine Arts. The ceilings are 22 feet-high and have 4 crystal chandeliers flanking each corner of the room. A wooden floor provides space for dancing and mingling.     • 5,184 square ft.
    • Standing Reception: 250 guests
    • Banquet with a dance floor: 160 guests
    • Banquet without a dance floor: 180 guests
  • Membership Garden: The Membership Garden is a Spanish style garden surrounded by columns and arched loggias with vaulted ceilings. The rich foliage is brought to life by the exquisite up-lighting. Membership Garden Accommodations:
    • 2,640 square ft.
    • Standing Reception: 160 guests
    • Banquet Seating: 60 guests
    • Ceremony Seating: 140 guests
  • Sculpture Garden: The Sculpture Garden has several permanent sculptures and tropical plants, all highlighted by modern lighting. Sculpture Garden Accommodations:
    • 2,640 square ft.
    • Standing Reception: 150 guests
    • Banquet Seating: 40 guests
  • North Straub Park: North Straub Park ceremonies can include several backdrops, such as the age-old banyan trees or the Tampa Bay waterfront. North Straub Park Accommodations:
    • Ceremony Seating: 500+ guests

The MFA Café is a work of art located inside the Museum’s glass Conservatory with stunning views of the waterfront. The Café offers both indoor and outdoor dining, and with our freshly prepared offerings and ever-changing menu, is a perfect pairing with a few hours at the Museum or a day in downtown St. Petersburg. Reservations are accepted. Vegetarian options available. Children’s menu is available.

  • MFA Fund: One of the most important ways you can support your Museum. Your tax-deductible contribution will impact the arts and enable the MFA to provide a dynamic array of exhibitions, care and conservation of our collection, and outreach for our community through our comprehensive educational programs. Or you may customize your gift. Donations may be a * One-Time GiftMonthly, or * Annually.
  • Gifts of Appreciated Stock: Gifts of securities are welcomed.
  • Planned Giving: The Museum of Fine Arts recognizes individuals or couples who have included MFA in their estate plans with membership in the Legacy Society. These gifts take the form of bequests by naming the Museum of Fine Arts not only in a will or trust, but also in a charitable remainder trust, gifts of life insurance, or any other type of charitable planned gift. A gift now or in the future can help the MFA continue to play a vital role in providing cultural education to our community – this can be your legacy. Your planned gift to the Museum, large or small, can have a big impact over time.
  • Partners & Sponsors: Partnerships with business leaders continue to be an essential component of the Museum’s support. The MFA offers a range of sponsorship opportunities at various levels of commitment, including the underwriting of exhibitions, special events, or related educational programs. Media partners are also included due to their generous in-kind support of Museum programs, events and exhibitions.
  • Memorials and Tributes: Gifts in honor or in memory of loved ones are special tributes that recognize an important person or event in your life while supporting the MFA. Individuals honored are recognized in our Annual Report each year and special notification of your gift is sent to the individual or the family of those who are being remembered.
  • Recurring Gifts: Recurring gifts offer you the convenience of giving monthly, and you have the option to change or cancel your recurring gift at any time. Donors who make recurring gifts are recognized in the MFA’s Annual Report.
  • Gifts of Art: Donated works of art and funds to purchase art enrich the permanent collection and ensure the works will be cared for and appreciated by a wide audience.

Volunteer: Much like how the MFA is the Heart of St. Pete, volunteers become the Heart of the MFA! The Museum of Fine Arts looks for volunteers from all backgrounds. A background in art is not required for most volunteer service positions. Areas of opportunity include docents, family programs, membership, special events/community outreach, museum store, curatorial, visitor services, and administration.
