Volunteer: For The Love Of Science! Mid-America Science Museum offers volunteer opportunities for youth & adults in the Hot Springs area. We strive to spark curiosity, enhance scientific knowledge, & encourage a lifelong learning and passion for science. Volunteers have the opportunity to gain skills, abilities, & knowledge that are translatable to other areas in life. Mid-America Science Museum also seeks volunteers who have their own professional expertise to share with visitors, especially if you have previous experiences in a STEM-based profession! Volunteers have several opportunities at the Museum, from assisting on the Museum floor or behind the scenes with exhibit technicians. Our volunteers also assist our education staff in presenting shows, facilitating activities, and assisting during summer camps. There are a variety of volunteer needs around the museum – there is something for everyone
