“Wish” Experiences Can Help Improve Emotional and Physical Health. Donate to Transform a Child’s Life! Specified amounts are designated or you may give an amount of your choice. Monthly gifts are encouraged and you may consider donating as an honor or memorial gift.
Donation designations include: LOCAL — serving children in a specific region. NATIONAL — serving children throughout the U.S., and INTERNATIONAL– serving children outside the U.S.
- Monthly Donations: By pledging your support, you can ensure more children re-discover hope when they need it most.
- Start a Fundraiser: Fundraising empowers you to make a greater impact. Whether it’s through athletic events, lemonade stands or birthday fundraisers, passionate supporters rally their networks to grant wishes in their communities.
- Become a National Partner: Make-A-Wish is the world’s largest wish-granting organization, serving children in more than 50 countries on five continents. Last year, Make-A-Wish granted more than 15,600 wishes in the U.S., totaling more than 300,000 wishes since our inception in 1980. You can be a part of the movement!

- Adopt-A-Wish: The Adopt-A-Wish program offers you the opportunity to invest in an experience that can alter the course of a wish child’s life, forever. Experience the joy of helping others during their time of greatest need by becoming a part of the Make-A-Wish America Adopt-A-Wish Program. This program provides a unique opportunity to make an immediate, direct and substantial impact on the life of a child. The financial investment provided by our donors ensures that we have the funds available to grant the wishes of every eligible child.
- Donate Airline Miles: Nationally, Make-A-Wish would need more than 2.8 billion miles, or 50,000 round-trip tickets, to cover every travel wish each year. Every mile donated helps wish kids and their families travel to destinations around the world. Once donated, your miles will never expire and are used to support wishes across the country. This is just one simple way you can help grant a life-changing wish experience.
- Car Donation: Your tax-deductible charitable vehicle donation helps make wishes come true for your local chapter. Many Make-A-Wish chapters partner with either the Car Donation Foundation (doing business as Wheels For Wishes) and Charitable Auto Resources (CARS) to provide a charitable car donation service that is quick and easy. Both services will arrange to have your vehicle picked up, repaired and resold, with proceeds benefiting your local Make-A-Wish chapter.
- Donate Hotel Points: Each year, thousands of wish kids choose to travel to a special place. Help make their wishes possible by donating your hotel points. Donated hotel loyalty points from generous people help us provide needed accommodations. We also welcome donations of hotel rooms in popular destinations and cities with regional/hub airports.

- In Kind Gifts: You can help create life-changing experiences for wish kids by donating goods.
- Planned Giving: Planned giving ensures your legacy lives on through wishes.
