Your rental fees support the preservation and maintenance of the park. Your event at the Lost River Cave supports its woodlands, wetlands, and wildlife. As a non-profit organization, we rely on your support to continue preserving and enhancing the natural beauty around us. Thank you for helping to make nature accessible to all. • Cavern: Whether you’ve dreamed of exchanging your vows under the trees or underground, Lost River Cave is the perfect outdoor wedding venue for you. The Cavern Nite Club, located in one of the largest cave entrances in the United States, offers a unique and unforgettable setting, accommodating up to 300 guests for both intimate ceremonies and grand celebrations. This historic venue still boasts its original 1930s bandstand and bar, while a stunning crystal chandelier adds a touch of elegance, suspended above the legendary dance floor. White drapery panels with cascading lights extend from the chandelier to the pavilion’s columns, creating a romantic and enchanting atmosphere.
• River Birch Room: The River Birch Room offers the perfect setting for your next: * bridal or baby shower * birthday celebration * family gathering * club meeting, or * office seminar. This versatile space comfortably accommodates up to 60 guests and comes complete with private restrooms, tables and chairs, access to a kitchenette, and audio-visual equipment. Conveniently located, the room also offers free access to the Nature Explore Playscape and hiking trails—unique perks that set it apart from other rental spaces. With its perfect blend of natural beauty and timeless elegance, the venue creates a truly unforgettable setting that will make your special day as unique and extraordinary as your love.

Membership

Join the Lost River Cave family and discover wonder, adventure, and unforgettable memories—while helping protect the nature that makes it all possible! When you become a member, you’re not just supporting nature—you’re stepping into it. Membership at Lost River Cave helps protect this incredible 72-acre treasure and gets you * exclusive perks * special invites, and * more outdoor adventures for your crew. Annual Memberships may be purchased through monthly installments.

Donation

Your support makes the park possible! As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Lost River Cave is only possible with the help of generous people like you. Your donation goes to conserve the 72-acre park and support the mission to educate and enrich lives through connections with nature. Donations at specific amounts are designated and you may customize your gifts. Recurring gifts are encouraged. Memorial and Tribute gifts are welcomed. Additional donation options include, * Stock & Security * Endowment Support * Workplace Giving & Matching Gifts * Gifts In-Kind * Legacy Giving, and these programs:

• 72 Society: The 72 Society is a group of passionate trailblazing people to make a difference now and ensure long-range support for projects into the future through multi-year commitments. By committing $1000 or more annually for 5 years, you can better the Cave and 72 acres which are the foundation of Lost River Cave’s mission.
• Commemorative Bench Program: A named bench at Lost River Cave offers a lasting way to honor a loved one, celebrate a meaningful connection, or leave a personal legacy in a place of beauty and reflection. Nestled along our trails, each bench invites visitors to pause, rest, and take in the landscape—becoming part of countless moments of discovery, remembrance, and joy. Benches are available for a $5,000 gift for a 10-year period and include a personalized plaque. At the end of that time, supporters may renew their naming for $3,000 if the bench remains in good condition, or $5,000 if replacement is needed, ensuring the space continues to welcome visitors and offer them a comfortable spot to rest and take in nature for years to come. 
• Kroger Community Rewards: You can save money every time you use your rewards card, and Kroger will make a donation to Lost River Cave! Please designate Lost River Cave as your Community Rewards charity.
• Event Sponsorship: Lost River Cave hosts the most unique events in Bowling Green. There’s a sponsorship opportunity for everyone whether you’re looking for a great way to market your business, give back to the community, or both! 

Volunteer 

Since our early days in 1990, volunteers have been integral to the preservation and conservation of Lost River Cave and furthering the mission of enriching and educating more lives through connections in nature. Volunteering at Lost River Cave is a great activity for students, individuals, groups, and families. Work alongside the Lost River Park Guides and Naturalists and be a Habitat Hero!
