Donate via cash, check, stock, credit card, and Venmo. Donations at specified amounts are designated or you may customize your gifts. Recurring gifts are encouraged. You may donate on behalf of a business, organization, or in memory, honor, or tribute to a special person or occasion.

Planned Giving

The Catalpa Legacy Society: The Catalpa Legacy Society is the membership organization for those who have made planned or legacy gifts to the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the Commonwealth of Kentucky (NSCDA-KY). The NSCDA-KY’s mission is to uphold the objectives of the National Society; to preserve and maintain Liberty Hall Historic Site museum as a public trust; to support public interest in history; and to stimulate a spirit of patriotism. Planned gifts to NSCDA-KY enable us to hold and grow our own resources for our lifetimes, while contributing to historic preservation into the future. A legacy gift is a wonderful way to make a gift that keeps giving far beyond any individual lifetime.

Examples of legacy gifts include, * Will Bequests * IRAs * Annuities * Insurance Policies * Charitable Remainder and Lead Trusts, and * Life Income Gifts.

Volunteer

Liberty Hall Historic Site relies on the support of volunteers who assist with many aspects of museum operations and garden maintenance. Volunteers who enjoy working with the public can assist with children’s and adult programs and special events. Those who prefer to help behind the scenes can lend a hand in the office and assist with occasional collections projects. Garden volunteers are needed for clean-up days and much more throughout the year so please keep an eye out for volunteer days!
