As a VENUE: Host your event…

The Lewistown Art Center is available for rental! Host: * meetings * parties * performances * art classes, and * more. With three floors and over 8000 square feet to play with, we can accommodate most groups and events. Three distinctive spaces are available:

• Mezzanine: The Mezzanine overlooking the main gallery floor is an ideal space for small parties or meetings, comfortably accommodating up to 25 people. Available at no charge during business hours; we ask guests to make a donation in the amount of their choice to help support our operating costs.
• Margie Wilkins Gallery: The beautiful Margie Wilkins Gallery is a perfect space for artist receptions, performances or larger events up to 100 people. Rental includes tables, chairs and access to our full onsite kitchen.
• Classroom: The Classroom is a vibrant, creative space to host demonstrations, workshops and art classes. Classroom rental includes free use of all non-consumable art supplies (brushes, easels, aprons, etc).

The LAC offers individual and family membership levels to suit any budget, with the option to pay dues annually or through our high-impact Sustaining Members Monthly Giving Program – The best way to make a Big impact! With a Sustaining Membership, your contribution is processed through a convenient auto-pay system, directly through your checking or savings account. Monthly payments are dependable, secure and easy to set up! Your information will never be shared or transferred, and you can cancel or adjust payment amounts any time. • Endowment: A robust endowment is crucial to any organization that depends on private support. The LAC is working to build a healthy and stable financial backbone, ensuring we are able to sustain our strategic growth and continue to provide first-rate services to our Central Montana community. Whether in the form of unrestricted endowment gifts, special purpose funds, or legacy and planned gifts, the LAC has multiple ways for donors to support its endowment. Donors might choose an outright gift, a deferred gift made today (often using the Montana Endowment Income Tax Credit), or with legacy gifts made through trusts and wills. The Art Center has an endowment fund set up through the Central Montana Foundation, making it easy to support multiple Central MT organizations with a single gift.
• Legacy Giving: The LAC’s Board of Directors understands the importance of a stable annual revenue stream and is committed to increasing the Art Center’s permanent endowment. Our staff is ready and willing to assist endowment donors in fulfilling their philanthropic dream of supporting art and culture in Central Montana. When donors leave a gift to the LAC in a will or other estate plans, they are creating a lasting legacy for arts and education, inspiring tomorrow’s artists and ensuring the LAC’s mission for generations to come. If you have included the LAC in your estate plans, informing us of those plans enables us to properly express our gratitude. We encourage you to reach out for more information on ways to give.
• Community Partners: The Lewistown Art Center partners with a wide variety of local businesses and organizations each year, all of them invested in ensuring Central Montana remains a hub of art, culture and education.
• Business Sponsorships: LAC Business Sponsors provide annual, flexible support. These funds help us invest in working artists, keep exhibits free and provide year-round arts programming. Annual contributions over $250 (cash or in-kind) entitle your organization to a variety of promotional benefits. Gifts are cumulative over 12 months. Begin with a Basic Sponsorship and become an Elite Sponsor by supporting programs you know and love – like Shakespeare in the Parks, Youth Education, Gallery Shows, or Cultural Events!

Volunteer: Volunteer with us!  We are always seeking volunteers to help with the many moving parts of the Art Center. There are so many ways to help out with day-to-day operations, education, sales, fundraising, construction projects and more!
