KMAC Contemporary Art Museum features two gallery floors, with additional amenities such as the KMAC Cafe and Bar, private education spaces, and a fully curated gift shop!

• KMAC offers a comfortable space for productive and effective meetings, seating anywhere from 5 – 75 guests. Our 3rd floor education space provides the amenities to conduct business and incorporate art making, ideal for * meetings * luncheons * presentations * staff retreats and, * more.

For Weddings:

• Celebrate joyous moments of matrimony at KMAC specializing in engagement parties and wedding receptions. When it comes to creating an intimate environment full of love, expression and culture our world class exhibits incorporated with your creativity will result in that “WOW” factor every couple deserves.

• Whether it is a graduation, anniversary, baby shower, or other special moment in your life – we are here to help you celebrate! With spacious layouts and customizable floorplan options, we can bring your vision to life for any occasion!

For Group Artmaking:

Looking for a team-building excursion or a fun evening out with friends? Book an adult workshop for groups of 8 or more. These workshops are perfect for beginners or anyone looking to be creative!

For Private Tours:

Guided tours are a great way to get an in-depth look at our exhibitions. Knowledgeable and engaging docents or museum staff will lead you through an experience tailored to your group.

For Corporate/Group Gifts:

Looking to add something special to your guest experience? Include a KMAC Contemporary Art Museum Gift Bag! Included items can be curated directly with KMAC Shop staff to ensure a perfect souvenir for your guests! Once you choose your items from the KMAC Shop, KMAC Staff will prepare and wrap the bags for you- having them ready for your guests the day of the event! Additional charges apply.​

As an EATERY: Food for thought…

The KMAC Café provides handcrafted espresso drinks made with a blend from Quills Coffee , a local specialty roastery. Visitors can also experience Kentucky’s signature spirit through a rotating bourbon menu and craft cocktails during regular museum hours. For a more in-depth experience, guests can book a tasting and tour of the museum: Tour & Tasting – Add on a unique bourbon tasting experience to the end of your tour! You will first walk through the exhibits with a knowledgeable guide, then end with a a tasting of four different bourbons from featured brand RD1, with a focus on the craft of Kentucky’s signature spirit. Please note this experience is reserved for visitors age 21 and over. Photo IDs must be presented at check-in.​ (Guests can enjoy a delicious beverage while browsing the KMAC Shop or viewing our first-floor art installations.)

KMAC: Art is the Big Idea; Craft is the Process. KMAC Museum is a nonprofit organization and free contemporary art museum in downtown Louisville. The museum’s mission is to connect people to art and creative practice. Each year, KMAC connects over 100,000 people to art through exhibitions, workshops, special events, lectures, performances and community experiences. In addition, KMAC connects more than 30,000 school children to art through camps, field trips, artist in residencies and mobile museums. Help KMAC connect people to art!

Membership:

• Two membership levels are offered: * KMAC Member and * KMAC Donor’s Circle. Give the gift of membership.

• Specified amounts are designated or you may customize your gift. Donations can become a meaningful way to honor a loved one’s memory.
