The Kentucky Derby Museum provides a one-of-a-kind setting with everything you need from catering to dance floor and even a bugler! Explore our spaces and custom packages for * wedding ceremonies and receptions * dinners * cocktail parties * corporate gatherings * award ceremonies, and * network events. Three distinct spaces are available:

• The Great Hall & Exhibits: This space offers many unique amenities with the ability to customize to fit your event. Create the perfect atmosphere with the customizable 360° mezzanine screen that surrounds the large oval atrium and set the mood with personalized adjustments to the domed ceiling lighting. Automatic doors open right out to first-floor exhibits where guests can engage and explore to create a truly immersive experience you and your guests will not soon forget. Capacity: 160-175 seated dinner, 500-600 cocktail/standing reception, 192 ceremony, 300 theater style
• Oaks Garden Terrace: Tucked between Kentucky Derby Museum and Churchill Downs, this space feels like a secret garden elegantly wrapped in Derby history and modern design. Blur the line of inside and out with glass-panel garage-style doors that fully open where guests can enjoy the open-air gardens or climate-controlled interiors. This newly renovated space balances subtle nods to horse racing with refined elegance to create an unforgettable backdrop for your event. Capacity: 350 seated dinner (with or without dance floor), 600 cocktail/standing reception, 300 ceremony, 500 theater style
• Second Floor Gallery: The Second Floor Gallery offers a sophisticated and adaptable space for your event. Large windows allow in lots of natural light to create an airy, open atmosphere while oversized chandeliers add just the right touch of sophistication and Derby charm. Guests can take in the views of Churchill Downs from the wrap-around enclosed balcony or explore the exhibits found right outside the Gallery. This intimate space perfectly blends modern elegance with rich Derby history for both formal and casual events. Capacity: 120-150 seated dinner, 350 cocktail/standing reception, 280 ceremony, 75 ceremony + reception, 275 theater style
