Zoo Souvenirs! Your favorite Zoo memory can be found and purchased from one of the two Zoo gift shops, Deja Zoo and Equator Gifts, located in the Lobby or in the African Market. Commemorate your experience with an animal painting or plush animal. Share your support of the Zoo with a t-shirt or a cap.

As an EATERY: Food for thought…

Indoor and outdoor restaurants, snack shops, ice cream and refreshments are available throughout the Zoo. Your purchases in the Zoo’s concession stands support the Zoo’s conservation and education programs.

• Tuxedo Grill: Looking for a delicious mid-day meal? Bring your family here to enjoy: Kids’ meals, char-grilled hamburgers, chicken sandwiches or a slice of pizza to curb that hunger.
• Bluey’s: Once you arrive in Australia stop by Bluey’s and get yourself a signature hot dog or loaded nacho and top it off with a selection of ice-cold beers.
• Rafiki Restaurant: The Rafiki Restaurant in Africa boasts delicious hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, loaded tater tots and refreshing Icees to fill you up before your journey.
• Safari Snacks: Located in the African Market area, Safari Snacks serves up delicious funnel cakes, Dippin’ Dots ice cream, pretzels, nachos and assorted beverages.

Enjoy a full year of fun at the Kansas City Zoo, where every visit is a new adventure! Memberships include unlimited admission to the Zoo, discounts on concessions and retail, a subscription to Expeditions quarterly newsletter, discounts on select Zoo events, and more. Your membership helps support the Zoo’s Conservation Fund, preserving wildlife at home and around the world. Memberships at specified levels are offered: * Basic Individual Plus * Premier Individual Plus * Basic Family * Premier Family * Premier Experience * Gorilla Adventurer * Elephant Conservationist, and * Penguin Patron.

As a non-profit organization, the Zoo depends on the generosity of individuals in our community to feed and care for our more than 1,700 animals. Thank you for supporting the Kansas City Zoo!

• General Donations: The Kansas City Zoo needs you so that we can continue to make a real difference for the natural world. You have the opportunity to permanently change the future of the world for you, your children, and grandchildren.
• Adopt a Wild Child: Animal adoptions are a unique, fun way to help us feed and care for our more than 1,700 animals. For less than a dollar a day, you can help add to our naturalistic habitats, purchase toys for animal enrichment, and provide hundreds of pounds of food each day.
• Giving Plaques: Purchasing a Kansas City Zoo animal plaque supports the feeding and care of our more than 1,700 animals. These plaques, which are placed permanently at the Zoo, are a great way to honor the memory of a loved one, commemorate a special occasion, or proclaim your family’s love of the Zoo.
• Stock Donations: The Kansas City Zoo‘s mission is to connect people to each other and the natural world to promote understanding, appreciation, and conservation. It is gifts like yours that help us continue to make a real difference for the natural world by allowing people to experience it firsthand. You have the opportunity to permanently change the future of the world for you, your children, and your grandchildren by helping to create those connections.
• Planned Giving: With a little planning, you have the opportunity to ensure that future generations are able to experience the adventure and wonder of the Kansas City Zoo.
