Membership

Our members are contributors, providing essential support to help fund exhibitions and programs; expand and preserve our permanent collection; and maintain our facilities and grounds. As a member, you may visit as often as you like to experience new exhibits, artist talks, guided tours and more. You’ll receive invitations to opening receptions and a subscription to our biannual magazine, Viewfinder, which highlights artists and their work — and gives you a sneak peek of what’s ahead. Members also receive a 10% discount on all purchases in our Museum Store. WE OFFER MULTIPLE MEMBERSHIP LEVELS: * Individual * Educator * Dual, and * Family. Corporate Membership: The Corporate Membership Program at the Hilliard Art Museum – University of Louisiana at Lafayette provides employees, clients, and executives with a unique opportunity to experience the fine arts right in the heart of Lafayette. It is an annual program designed to give exceptional access to the museum’s collections, exhibitions, and exclusive VIP events. Revenue from corporate membership provides critical annual operating support for the Hilliard Art Museum to fulfill its mission in fostering an appreciation of the arts for the residents of Acadiana. • The Hilliard Society: Will you join us as a patron and partner? As a member of The Hilliard Society, you’ll help make our mission a reality.The Society is a nonprofit organization that conducts fundraising for the Museum. Its members are community philanthropists who generously support the Museum through annual contributions of $1,000 or more and generate additional support throughout Acadiana. Their efforts provide a sustained and essential source of unrestricted support for special exhibitions, publications, conservation and acquisitions, as well as a variety of educational programs and focused initiatives.
• Sponsor: The Hilliard Art Museum‘s Sponsorship program presents an opportunity for businesses and corporations to provide financial support to a world class arts organization and exceptional community resource, while receiving substantial recognition and employee benefits. SPONSORS CAN CHOOSE TO SUPPORT: Exhibitions, Education and Family Programs, Member Events, and Publications. Adopt an Artwork: Many objects in the permanent collection need cleaning and conservation before they are ready to exhibit. If you would like to contribute to our efforts in maintaining these objects in perpetuity, please donate to our conservation fund,or contact the director to discuss the many ways you can support our museum mission.
