Two distinctive spaces are available:

  • Robinson Atrium: The Museum’s signature Richard Meier building provides a dramatic, light-filled space for any special occasion. Below the fan-shaped glass ceiling, the Atrium features granite floors and an elegant four-story ramp leading to the Museum’s permanent collection galleries.
  • Weiland Pavilion Grand Lobby: Architect Renzo Piano designed the Grand Lobby as part of the Museum’s 2005 expansion. The generous space is furnished with beautiful hardwood floors and graceful eighteen-foot coffered ceilings. With floor-to-ceiling windows on the North and South walls, the Lobby offers grand views of the campus and piazza, surrounded by Midtown Atlanta.

From quick snacks and coffee to elegant dinners and brunches:

  • CJ’s Café: CJ’s Café in the Taylor Lobby provides salads, sandwiches, light snacks, baked goods, and beverages for purchase.
  • Refuge Coffee Co.: Refuge Coffee Co. is open during museum hours and is conveniently located on campus across the Piazza, facing Peachtree Street. Refuge Coffee Co. serves espresso, coffee, and tea as well as pastries and light bites.
  • Twelve Eighty Lounge: Twelve Eighty Lounge offers a limited menu of quick-service items including salads and sandwiches and a full bar. Seating is available in the lounge and outdoor dining area only.

Membership: As a member, be the first to see new exhibitions, enjoy exclusive discounts when shopping and dining, and receive free access to programs, lectures, and more. Plus, visit the High as often as you like for a full year with free admission and free parking. The Circles: Experience the High as few can in the Museum’s foremost membership levels. Specified levels include: * Circle Salon * Circle Member * Circle Supported * Circle Benefactor, and Circle Premier.

A bequest to the Museum may also help you meet your financial and estate planning goals because it is eligible for an estate tax charitable deduction equal to the entire amount of the bequest.
  • Gifts of Art: You may donate artworks to the High Museum of Art during your lifetime or by bequest. Donating artwork, a form of tangible personal property, requires special attention at the High Museum. Although a work may be artistically significant, it may not be appropriate for the Museum’s collection. Volunteer: Volunteering at the High Museum of Art is an experience that not only enriches the lives of our patrons, but yours as well. Volunteers engage with patrons through educational programs, by greeting visitors and helping at special events, among other activities. Volunteers receive a monthly email with volunteer updates, invitations to exclusive volunteer-only events, and exposure to the leading art museum in the southeastern United States.The High Volunteer Program requires a six month to one-year commitment with at least 6 hours (2 shifts) encouraged per month. All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Volunteer positions include: * Second Sunday Volunteers * smARTbox Volunteers * Information Desk Volunteers * HIGH Frequency Friday Volunteers * Friday Jazz Volunteers * Exhibition Volunteers, and * School Group Volunteers. DOCENTS: Docents are the Museum’s “face” to our visitors. Docents create memorable experiences for visitors ranging from kindergarteners to senior citizens.
