As a VENUE: Host your event…

Located in downtown Atlanta, the Georgia Aquarium offers a number of unique event venues with breathtaking views, having up to 23,000+ square feet of flexible space. Wolfgang Puck Catering has been the exclusive, proud catering partner for Georgia Aquarium since its’ opening in 2005.​ Seven distinctive rental spaces are offered:

  • Oceans Ballroom: For your next special event, select the Oceans Ballroom to accommodate up to 1,000 people for a seated dinner or 1,200 for a reception. You can also split the ballroom into three smaller sections, Arctic, Pacific or Atlantic, to accommodate a smaller group.
    • Room Details: 23,000 sq ft including pre-function * 150′ ×112′ Dimensions * 19′-21′ Ceiling Height * 1,200 Reception * 1,000 Banquet * 1,500 Theater,*  and 600 Classroom.
  • Atlantic Ballroom: The Atlantic Room has easy access to the Antarctic Pre-Function space where you can greet your guests and set up a bar for them to grab a beverage as they walk down to the Aquarium for admission prior to your event.
    • Room Details: 3,200 sq. ft. * 42′ ×91′ Dimensions * 19′-21′ Ceiling Height * 200 Reception * 180 Banquet, and * 400 Ceremony.
  • Pacific Ballroom: This Pacific Room is the center section of the Oceans Ballroom and the largest area available, with accommodations for up to 300-400 people. The Indian Pre-Function space is directly outside this room, which will provide you easy access to one of our aquatic viewing windows.
    • Room Details: 5,500 sq ft * 60′ ×92′ Dimensions * 19′-21′ Ceiling Height * 400 Reception * 300 Banquet * 700 Theater, and * 250 Classroom.
  • Arctic Ballroom: The Arctic Room is our most popular, with a private view of our beluga whales. Include Aquarium admission as a part of the evening, and your guests will have the opportunity to visit the galleries prior to your event.
    • Room Details: 4,200 sq ft * 48′ ×88′ Dimensions * 19′-21′ Ceiling Height * 250 Reception * 150 Banquet * 340 Theater and * 140 Classroom.
  • Entire Aquarium Event: For large events, Georgia Aquarium can be yours exclusively after hours. The entire Aquarium can be made available as a distinctive reception space for a genuinely inspiring experience. Our seven galleries are always changing with new animals and features to provide a unique colorful backdrop for your special event. This option can accommodate events up to 5,000 guests.
  • Gallery Events: Our exclusive exhibit gallery event program was designed for smaller, intimate groups that want to dine amongst the Aquarium inhabitants. Imagine cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while beluga whales enchant your guests. Dine alongside whale sharks, the ocean’s “gentle giants.” Escape to the tropics and marvel at one of the largest living reef exhibits in the world. Georgia Aquarium’s exclusive gallery event program was designed to help you create an unforgettable event inside one of the Aquarium’s galleries: * Ocean Voyager – Enchant your guests with a voyage to the ocean floor. They will be captivated as tens of thousands of fish swim overhead and will marvel as they dine alongside the largest aquarium viewing window in North America. * Cold Water Quest – Transport your guests to the Arctic as they experience a reception or seated dinner among the chilly unknown. * Tropical Diver – Escape to the tropics and engage your guests in the relaxing and intimate menu as they are mesmerized by one of the largest living reef exhibits in the world.

COASTLINE CAFE: Dive into a delicious meal at the Coastline Café while you visit the beauty of the deep blue. The Café offers a selection of family-friendly comfort foods such as homemade chicken tenders, burgers, pizza, hot dogs, mac and cheese, salads, and a selection of vegetarian and vegan options. Additionally, the Café serves freshly brewed coffee as well as wine, beer, and other bottled beverages.

Membership:

A Georgia Aquarium Membership guarantees you and your family new thrills, adventures and fish-filled fun each time you visit. Members can take advantage of free and discounted admission to special events, discounts on Aquarium programs and more. With all the discounts, membership pays for itself in just two visits — plus you’ll get access to member-only events like Member Appreciation Night. Your membership supports all of the Aquarium’s efforts in aquatic animal research and conservation. Gift Memberships are encouraged. Donations:

From programming for students attending Title I schools and therapy for injured veterans to ground breaking research and conservation efforts, there are more than a million reasons to support Georgia Aquarium’s Annual Fund. Donations at four specified amounts are designated or you may give what you can. You may also select a Program for Your Gift: Research & Conservation, Educational Programs and Military Salute.

The contributions build and sustain crucial research, K-12 educational programming and global work surrounding conservation and research.
