Join the FAMily! A membership enhances your Frist experience and makes the museum yours—a place for inspiration, reflection, and rejuvenation. There’s always something new to see here, and you can visit as often as you like. When you become a member, you provide essential support to the Frist Art Museum while enjoying all the benefits membership has to offer. Whether you’re looking for simplicity in your Frist membership or more benefits to enjoy, there is a membership level for everyone! Gift memberships are encouraged. Membership at specified levels is offered: * 65+ and Educators: Individual * Individual: Individual * Dual: Dual * Access Plus: Dual *  Wahol Society: Individual/Dual * Friend: Dual * Friend Plus: Dual, and * Friend VIP: Dual.

Explorer Membership: A free membership level which is available to residents of Davidson, Cheatham, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, or Wilson Counties with a household income of $40,000 or less for individuals or $80,000 or less for households with two adults.

With your help, we will continue to act on our vision of inspiring people through art to look at their world in new ways. Your support is essential to our mission of serving the community. Memorial and honorary gifts are also welcomed as a meaningful way to pay tribute to someone who has had a lasting impact in your life while also contributing to the mission of the Frist Art Museum. Donations at specified amounts are designated or you may customize your gift.

Circle: Circle comprises the Frist Art Museum’s leading donors. As a member of Circle, you ensure the long-term sustainability of the museum and help us bring the art of the world to Middle Tennessee. Circle comprises the Frist Art Museum’s leading donors. Appreciated Securities: Donating gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual fund assets are a great way to help the Frist Art Museum forward its mission of presenting and originating high-quality exhibitions with related educational programs and community outreach activities.

IRA: If you own an Individual Retirement Account and have not yet taken your required minimum distribution, you may be able to avoid income tax on your required withdrawal by donating your money directly to a qualified 501(c)(3) organization such as Frist Art Museum. Warhol Society: The Warhol Society is a vibrant group of young professionals (ages 21–40) who represent the next generation of Frist Art Museum supporters in Nashville. Levels include: * Individual * Dual, and * Gift.

Fundraining Events: The Frist Gala and its accompanying Patron Party are among the premier social events in Nashville. As the museum’s largest fundraiser, the Frist Gala raises well over half a million dollars each year to benefit the museum.

We seek  people of all ages to help in Guest Services, the gift shop, and Martin ArtQuest. Volunteers enjoy FREE access to all Frist exhibitions, free parking, discounts in the gift shop, and more! It’s a wonderful way to meet new people and support the arts. Each year, hundreds of volunteers of all abilities inspire people to look at their world in new ways. When you contribute your time and skills to the Frist Art Museum, you not only support the arts in our community, but also get to meet interesting people (like you!). The Frist Art Museum is certified in Excellence in Volunteer Engagement (EVE), which recognizes nonprofits with high-quality volunteer management practices.
