• Personal Fundraising: Starting a Fundraiser is Easy! People just like you have campaigned for causes they believe in and have done some pretty amazing things. And they’re thinking of new things to do every day. What will you do? Setting up a campaign is easier then you think. Pick a cause and a name. Then fill out a little information on why it needs funding.
• Sponsor a Community Event: Community Outreach Events are the foundation of Feed the Children and are where you actually see the impact of fundraising. There is no better way to fully experience Feed the Children than when our food, essentials and dignity boxes are in the hands of children and their families. Plus, we are able to reach more communities due to our numerous community partner relationships throughout the world. You can impact the lives of families by sponsoring a full community event that goes to benefit the families in a specific area. Through your work with our Corporate Partner team, together, you can identify an area most in need and watch your donation be put to work.
• Donate Cryptocurrency: By donating cryptocurrency you can help hungry kids. Through our cryptocurrency fundraising relationships with The Giving Block and Gemini Trust Exchange, we can accept multiple cryptocurrencies. Please consult with your financial planner to determine your tax benefits.
• Corporate Partners: We value our corporate partners and their commitment to improving the lives of citizens in our communities in the United States and around the world. Each day we align with corporate champions who seek to provide resources to families living without life’s essentials. Feed the Children welcomes the opportunity to partner with your organization as well.   • Wills and Living Trusts: You want to leave money to Feed the Children in your will. You also want the flexibility to change your will in the event that life circumstances change. You can do both. In as little as one sentence, you can complete your gift. This type of donation to Feed the Children in your will or living trust helps ensure that we continue our mission for years to come.
  • Giving from Your IRA: Make a difference today and save on taxes. It is possible when you support Feed the Children through your IRA. A Special Opportunity for Those 70½ Years Old and Older – You can give any amount (up to a maximum of $108,000) this year from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as Feed the Children without having to pay income taxes on the money. Gifts of any value $108,000 or less are eligible for this benefit and you can feel good knowing that you are making a difference at Feed the Children. This popular gift option is commonly called the IRA charitable rollover, but you may also see it referred to as a qualified charitable distribution, or QCD for short.
  • Charitable Gift Annuities: There is a way for you to support Feed the Children and feel confident that you have dependable income in your retirement years. You can do this with a charitable gift annuity. With a charitable gift annuity you agree to make a gift to Feed the Children and we, in return, agree to pay you (and someone else, if you choose) a fixed amount each year for the rest of your life. The balance is used to support our work. This type of donation can provide you with regular payments for life and allow Feed the Children to further our mission. You can also qualify for a variety of tax benefits depending on how you fund your gift.
  • Charitable Remainder Trust: If you have built a sizable estate and also are looking for ways to receive reliable payments, consider a charitable remainder trust. This type of trust provides you or other named individuals income each year for life or a period not exceeding 20 years from assets you give to the trust you create. At the end of the trust term, the balance in the trust goes to Feed the Children.
  • Appreciated Securities: Securities and mutual funds that have increased in value and been held for more than one year are popular assets to use when making a gift to Feed the Children. Making a gift of securities or mutual funds offers you the chance to support our work while realizing important benefits for yourself. When you donate appreciated securities or mutual funds in support of our mission, you can reduce or even eliminate federal capital gains taxes on the transfer. You may also be entitled to a federal income tax charitable deduction based on the fair market value of the securities at the time of the transfer.
  • Real Estate: Want to make a gift to Feed the Children without touching your bank account? Consider giving us real estate, such as a personal residence, vacation home, farm, commercial property or undeveloped land. Such a generous gift helps us continue our work for years to come. And a gift of real estate also helps you. When you give Feed the Children appreciated property you have held longer than one year, you qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction and you may minimize or eliminate capital gains tax. And you no longer have to deal with that property’s maintenance costs, property taxes or insurance. Another benefit: You don’t have to hassle with selling the real estate. You can deed the property directly to Feed the Children or ask your attorney to add a few sentences in your will or trust agreement.
  • Donor Advised Funds: A donor advised fund (DAF), which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Feed the Children and other qualified charities. You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts.
  • Charitable Lead Trusts: If you want to make an impact now at Feed the Children and also provide for your family later, consider setting up a charitable lead trust. You transfer cash or other assets to a trust that makes payments to Feed the Children for a period of time. When the term is up, the remaining trust passes to your family or other beneficiaries you select.
