Membership:

Discovery Center membership is a rewarding experience for you and your family. Become a member and attend sneak previews of our new exhibitions, receive discounts on camps and birthday parties, and enjoy the Discovery Center every day of the year. When you join the Discovery Center family, you’ll be supporting your community and you’ll help us achieve our mission to inspire lifelong interest and learning in STEM. Gift memberships are encouraged. Memberships at specified levels are offered: * Individual * Dual * Grandparent, and * Family.

Donations:

Your support impacts every aspect of the Discovery Center. It boosts access for Idaho students to experience quality, hands-on STEM educational opportunities. It guarantees fresh and engaging exhibitions. It delivers memorable and positive hands-on learning, which helps inspire future career paths in STEM fields for Idaho’s next generation.

• Make a Gift: Provide first hand experiences with STEM, both now and in the future. Support STEM programming and hands-on exhibits for students in underserved Idaho schools, empowering students to explore hands-on exhibits and world-class traveling exhibitions at substantially reduced rates. A contribution of $1,000 will help fund over 160 students. $2,500 will help fund over 400 students. $10,000 will help fund over 1,600 students.
• Gift of Stock: Support STEM programming and exhibits by donating your appreciated stock to the Discovery Center. Your gift will help spark an interest in STEM for visitors of all ages.
• Legacy Gifts: Planned giving opportunities offer creative, flexible ways for you to support the Discovery Center – now and into the future. Through your planned gift, you may be able to provide substantial charitable support while receiving significant tax benefits. We invite you to leave a legacy for tomorrow by considering one of the planned giving opportunities: bequests, gifts of life insurance, gifts of retirement assets and charitable remainder trusts.
• In-Kind Contributions: Donate event space, food, beverages, printing, advertising, silent or live auction items, office supplies and other budget-relieving goods and services to the Discovery Center.

To deliver the maximum return to your company, we can work with you to design a benefits package that meets your needs. Volunteer: Join our team of curious, innovative and knowledgeable volunteers who inspire our visitors every day! We are growing our regular floor volunteer team and we are looking for enthusiastic learners, educators, and all those interested in continuing to learn about science, technology, engineering and math. We are looking for volunteers interested in helping six to twelve hours a month on a regular day and time that fits your schedule. They are teachers, stay-at-home parents, students, retired engineers and more. You don’t have to be an expert to be a volunteer – if you are passionate about STEM, and love talking with and helping others, we’d love to have you.
