Support the Museum today and make a meaningful investment in the roots and growth of Blues music history. Generous contributions by those like yourself help to support the Delta Blues Museum‘s on-going effort to continue with, improve upon, and expand our educational programs, exhibits and other special events and programs. Donations given through the General Fund and Deeper Roots campaigns are part of the Delta Blues Foundation (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization) and are 100% tax deductible. There are multiple museum support options.

Membership:

Become a member of the Delta Blues Museum. Membership at specified levels are offered: Blues Fan * Blues Duo * Blues Family * Blues Supporter, and * Delta Blues Legend.

Donations:

• Buy a Brick: Becoming a part of blues history is as easy as purchasing a custom engraved blues brick for yourself, your business or someone you admire. Your blues brick will be incorporated into the architecture of the Delta Blues Museum and on display for all to see throughout the years. Each brick can hold up to three lines of your preferred engraving. Orders of multiple bricks can be purchased and these orders will be laid together. Location of your brick(s) will be determined by current architectural design
• General Fund: “Helping to Keep the Blues Alive” The Delta Blues Foundation General Fund is for those that want to contribute to the Museum, without having to choose a particular campaign. With your contribution to the Foundation – the Museum can continue to grow through additional programs, exhibits and special events. However, the growth doesn’t stop there – your contribution to the Foundation also gives the Museum the ability to expand and improve upon our current educational programs and exhibits. Donations of any amount are appreciated. Special naming opportunities are available. Thank you for helping us to continue to broaden our efforts to preserve the Blues for generations to come.
• Deeper Roots: The Museum Needs Your Help! With donations raised by the Delta Blues Foundation, through the Deeper Roots Campaign, the Delta Blues Museum will be able to offer even more to visitors and students.
• Matching Gifts: Many companies offer matching gift programs, allowing charitable gifts contributed by their employees to be increased. Check with your company’s Human Resources Department for more information regarding matching gift programs.
• Gifts in Honor or Memory: Commemorating family members, friends, or colleagues for an anniversary, milestone event, memorials or any other occasion. Honorarium gifts are greatly appreciated by those being honored as well as by their families, and the Delta Blues Museum.
• Gifts of Securities: Not only helping to fulfill the Museum’s mission, gifts of appreciated securities can also provide a considerable tax savings. Please consult with your financial advisor to learn if securities gifting will allow you the opportunity to avoid capital gains tax.
