Whether you want the backdrop of your wedding or corporate soiree to be traditional or contemporary, the Crocker Art Museum is the perfect canvas for your event. The Museum offers a flawless combination of vintage and modern spaces that can accommodate guest lists of all sizes. Five distinctive rental spaces are offered:

  • Ballroom: With opulent details from floor to ceiling and authentic furnishings, the Ballroom adds the perfect vintage elegance to any event. Guests will have the unique opportunity to enter through the historic entrance, exclusively available for after-hour private events.
    • Capacity: Standing – 300 guests; Theater Style – 200 guests; Banquet – 120 guests
    • 2,900 square feet
  • Courtyard: A versatile space situated between the historic and modern buildings, the Courtyard features a unique water feature and flexibility for custom lighting to enhance your event.
    • Capacity: Standing – 1,500 guests; Theater Style – 1,100 guests; Banquet – 400 guests
    • 7,750 square feet
  • E. Kendell Davis Courtyard: The E. Kendell Davis Courtyard is a park-like courtyard with trees and grass—an ideal space for an alfresco dinner party, a ceremony, or a cocktail hour. Flexibility for custom lighting enhancements make this charming open space a unique venue for any outdoor gathering.
    • Capacity: Standing – 1,100 guests; Theater Style – 600 guests; Banquet – 360 guests
    • 5,500 square feet
  • Friedman Court: The Friedman Court is a clean, modern space with two-story windows with beautiful, black marble flooring that accents any event design. Host your event in our largest indoor venue surrounded by stunning artwork and high ceilings that include rigging points for additional lighting options.
    • Capacity: Standing – 500 guests; Theater Style – 400 guests; Banquet – 300 guests
    • 4,000 square feet
  • Setzer Foundation Auditorium: With modern AV technology, an 11’ x 64’ screen, and comfortable theater seating for 260 guests, the Auditorium can be used for graduations, lectures, presentations, and conferences. The Auditorium has a built-in stage with wings, screen, black curtains, green room, and podium with microphone, with additional tech options available upon request. A Crocker-approved AV technician is included in the rental of the Auditorium to make your event a success.
    • Capacity: Theater Style – 260 guests
  • Meeting Center: Floor-to-ceiling windows to let in natural light, with blackout shades available for presentations. Standard AV equipment includes an LCD projector, screen, and podium with microphone. The Meeting Center has an optional airwall that can divide the space into two rooms, providing flexibility to meetings and gatherings, as well as built-in counter space.
    • Capacity: Standing – 150 guests; Theater Style – 130 guests; Banquet – 80 guests
    • 1,200 square feet

Docent Council: The Docent Council is a volunteer service group developed to support educational programs offered by the Crocker Art Museum. Along with touring groups of visitors, docents present outreach programs, spotlight talks, and interactive gallery-based activities.
