The mission of the Coos Art Museum Rental/Sales Gallery is to bring the work of local and regional artists into homes, workplaces, and businesses on Oregon’s South Coast. We encourage you to visit the Museum and view these interesting new additions to our Rental – Sales Gallery. Artist biographies are available upon request. Any Coos Art Museum member may rent art from the CAM Rental/Sales gallery. Business Members of the Museum earn a special rate per work, per rental period, and other considerations for works displayed on business premises. Please inquire for details.

Since 1966 Coos Art Museum has been a vital part of the state’s cultural landscape. Your support keeps Coos Art Museum a vibrant organization responsive to promoting arts and culture throughout Oregon’s South Coast. It’s your membership that moves us forward and makes Coos Art Museum a positive force in our community. Membership at specified levels is offered: Students * BAAA * Individual * Family * Business/Active Supporter * Gallery Club * Curator’s Circle * President’s Circle, and * Benefactor.

Donations:

Tax Deductible Giving at CAM. Donations in any amount help the Museum’s programs and activities.

  • Supporters: Like other museums and non-profits throughout the country, Coos Art Museum relies on contributions from both local and national sources. The Museum gratefully acknowledges the support of those individuals, foundations, corporations, and government agencies that give their support and make our continued operations possible. We also wish to acknowledge the support of the members, individuals, and businesses too numerous to name who make ongoing operations possible.
  • Planned Giving: A planned gift is any major gift made in lifetime or at death as part of an overall financial or estate plan. Invest in the future of Coos Art Museum with a planned gift. Recognizing Coos Art Museum in your financial plans will help advance access to art and arts education for the residents and visitors to the only art museum on Oregon’s South Coast for years to come. Coos Art Museum (Federal Tax ID# 93-6041248) can be designated as a beneficiary by simply adding the information on any of the following assets:

Volunteer: Volunteer at the museum and learn more about the Permanent Collection, stay current with exhibitions and events, learn about art display and handling, interact with museum staff, and enhance your appreciation of art. Coos Art Museum maintains a volunteer group of about 80 individuals: front desk volunteers welcome visitors, share information, track attendance; help with sales and much more, collections volunteers work with the Curator of the Permanent Collections in collection maintenance and research; exhibitions volunteers work with staff in mounting exhibitions, art handling and shipping; events volunteers are ambassadors who support museum staff during events and in a variety of roles.
