Whether you enjoy exhibits in the world-class Juliet Art Museum, hands-on fun in the Avampato Discovery Museum or taking in a show in one of the beautiful performance spaces, there is something for everyone at the Clay Center. - Annual Fund: One gift. Unrestricted possibilities. Community support is the foundation for the Clay Center’s good work and gifts to the Annual Fund build on that in a powerful way. Gifts to the Annual Fund lie at the heart of the Clay Center experience and touch nearly every aspect of life at the Center. From providing vital support for daily operations to ensuring the continuation of the Center’s programs, exhibits and performances, your donation will have a meaningful and lasting impact.
- Stock Gifts: Giving a gift of publicly traded stock that has increased in value and that you have owned for more than one year may provide greater tax benefits than giving cash. Your broker can assist you in making a gift of stock via a direct transfer to the Clay Center. The following information will ensure that your gift is received and acknowledged appropriately.
- Memorial & Tribute Gifts: A tribute gift is a meaningful way to celebrate someone special or a special occasion, honor a person’s accomplishments, or memorialize a loved one while also furthering the Clay Center’s mission of inspiring learning, wonder and creativity.
- Gift Planning: Generosity comes in many forms and it’s often the best way for you to support important causes that matter the most in your life. If you would like to extend your support of the Clay Center to make a lasting impact, there are several gift arrangements to choose from, such as: Planned Gifts, Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Remainder Trusts, IRA Charitable Rollover, Donor Advised Fund, Wills and Living Trusts. - Endowment: Ensuring the Clay Center’s future is as bright as its past. Our vision is to make the Clay Center accessible to a wide audience of visitors – to provide every West Virginia school the opportunity to send its children to the Center without charge, and to provide broad access to the community for our programming in the performing and visual arts and sciences. To accomplish this, a fundraising initiative is underway to increase the Center’s permanent endowment. These additional funds will be used to allow free access to the Center’s museum for school groups, provide free workshops and lectures to the community, and allow the Center to meet operational expenses. A gift of any size will help the Clay Center fulfill its mission of inspiring creativity, learning, and wonder through experiences in the arts and sciences for all people of West Virginia and the region.
- Chairman’s Guild: Chairman’s Guild membership begins at $15,000. With no tangible benefits, participation in the Guild is a tax-deductible gift that supports annual operations and helps ensure that West Virginia children and families are able to explore and learn together at the Clay Center. Whether enjoying world-class performances, interacting with exciting art and science exhibits, or taking part in a workshop or lecture, thousands are inspired because of the generosity of Guild members.
- Sponsorship: The Clay Center is dedicated to forming partnerships with individuals and companies throughout the state. As one of only three venues in the country to combine science, visual arts and performing arts under one roof, the Center is able to place a sponsor’s brand before a broad and diverse audience. Partnering with the Clay Center is a wonderful way to not only build brand equity, but also to provide exclusive networking and entertainment experiences for your clients and to accentuate your commitment to the community. Most importantly, you will be investing in the future of schoolchildren throughout West Virginia by providing them with affordable arts and sciences educational opportunities. - Donate Your Birthday: We love birthdays. Every year, your birthday invites friends and family to celebrate the day you came into the world. - Legal Society: The legal community has always provided generous support and invaluable guidance to the Clay Center. In an effort to continue that support in a unique way, the Clay Center Legal Society was established. Members of the Legal Society enhance the region’s quality-of-life by helping to create enriching experiences in the arts and sciences and enjoy exclusive membership benefits for a year.
- Medical Society: The Clay Center Medical Society provides an opportunity for like-minded medical professionals to come together in support of the Center’s mission of bringing educational and enriching experiences in the sciences and art to people all across West Virginia. Plus, members of the Medical Society receive exclusive membership benefits for a year.
