The Center for Wooden Boats (CWB) is a non-profit maritime museum that selectively agrees to rent its floating Boathouse Gallery and adjacent dock to the public for private functions. Rental of this facility helps to support CWB’s mission: To provide a gathering place where maritime history comes alive through direct experience and our small craft heritage is enjoyed, preserved, and passed along to future generations. Events hosted include: * Weddings * Parties * Teambuilding Events, and * Meeting Space.

BUY A BOAT & SUPPORT MARITIME HERITAGE: The Center for Wooden Boats frequently accepts boat donations. These boats are sometimes added to our collection of classic wooden boats, but more often they are sold to help us support our hands-on, on-the-water programs for kids of all ages. Membership:

Members at The Center for Wooden Boats (CWB) enjoy the satisfaction of knowing they are supporting a community-based organization running valuable programming such as our youth programs, skills workshops, and historical boat restoration projects. Members also enjoy significant discounts on boat rentals, CWB classes, and purchases at the CWB gift shops. Membership levels include:

Volunteer: Since 1977, The Center for Wooden Boats has been a volunteer-powered organization. Today, over 800 volunteers contribute on a regular basis to support hands-on learning and access to the water. Volunteers help with virtually every aspect of CWB’s operations and lead many of its most mission-centric programs.
