The UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive welcomes your gift in support of exhibitions, education programs, film study resources, community outreach, or art and film acquisitions.

• Annual Fund: Become a partner in presenting the BAMPFA programs you value most! We invite you to direct your most generous gift to our Annual Fund, which supports all of our adventurous art and film programming. As you consider your gift amount, please recognize that the University contributes less than 20 percent of our annual budget. The remainder must come from generous individuals like you.
• Endowment: In conjunction with BAMPFA’s successful building campaign, we have launched an ambitious endowment campaign to support key staff positions, collections, and programs. Funds from these new endowments will ensure we continue to provide the best access to art, film, and education for generations to come.
• Planned Giving: The Hofmann Society was launched during the new building campaign to honor those generous legacy donors who have included the UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive in their estate, retirement plan, or other life income gift such as a charitable gift annuity or charitable trust. We are very grateful for their commitment to securing our future.
• Corporate Giving: We are grateful for partners who make it possible for us to fulfill our mission. Please find out how your company can support BAMPFA.
• Donating Art & Film: All proposed gifts of art or film are reviewed by the Curatorial Department and director. If determined appropriate for the BAMPFA collection, proposals are then presented to the Collections Committee, which votes to recommend each work of art to the Board of Trustees for final approval. The Collections Committee reviews proposed gifts quarterly.
• Donating Film Research Materials: The Film Library and Study Center welcomes donations of film books, periodicals, still photographs, posters, production files, distributor and festival catalogs, and any other film-related documentation. Donations help improve the scope and quality of our library collections, which are used by students, scholars, historians, and film enthusiasts from the Bay Area and beyond.
• Scholarship Fund: Individual sponsorships of BAMPFA exhibitions and film series are fundamental to the quality, scope, and success of these programs. Sponsorships come with many opportunities for recognition and engagement and can be tailored to individual needs and interests.
• Corporate Giving: A corporate partnership with BAMPFA demonstrates a commitment to cultural enrichment in the Bay Area, offers exposure of your brand to our diverse and dynamic audiences, and provides unique opportunities for employee or client engagement.
