Host your special event somewhere truly unique! The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum is recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s largest motorcycle collection. With over 1,800 motorcycles spanning over 100 years of production, the Barber collection represents 220 different manufacturers from 22 countries. The museum also features the world’s most extensive collection of Lotus cars, plus an assortment of other rare and unusual cars. Our museum is a one-of-a-kind venue for * corporate receptions * banquets * business meetings * luncheons * galas, and * race day hospitality. Let us host your small and intimate gathering or large and lavish celebration in one of our three event spaces. 

The Grand Atrium

This multi-functional space is centrally located on our first level and is perfect for events of all sizes. Offering spectacular views of the Barber Road Course, the Pedestrian Bridge and Waterfall Feature, your guests are sure to enjoy an unforgettable experience! This space has audio and video packages available, and can seat up to 500 at rounds of 8 or be used as a reception room for 1200 people.

The Barber Room

The Barber Room is located on the Restoration Level of the museum and has a view of Turn 9 of the Barber Road Course, the Pedestrian Bridge and Waterfall Feature. Your guests have a unique opportunity to see exhibits on this level that are not open to the general public. This room can seat up to 64 people at rounds of 8, 50 guests classroom style, or 30 in U-shape or square table set up. Audio and video capabilities and a podium are included with this rental, as is the use of an updated kitchen and coffee station.

The Barber Theater

The Barber Theater is located on Level 1 of the museum and has a spectacular view of the Barber Road Course, Pedestrian Bridge and Waterfall Feature. Boasting a state-of-the-art audio/visual experience and luxurious theater seating for 59 guests – perfect for presentations! Just outside the Theater doors, your guests can immerse themselves in the motorcycle collection.

The Barber Motorsports Park is an 880 acre, multi-purpose racing facility located on the eastern fringes of Birmingham, Alabama. It was built by George Barber and includes the Barber Vintage Motorsport Museum. Our museum is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit Foundation and is considered the largest philanthropic project taken on by an individual in the history of Alabama.

The museum partners with local and national charities including the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation ® (PBTF) Birmingham Ride for Kids ® program; Camp Smile-a-Mile’s Camp SAM Motorcycle Ride; and with the Boy Scouts of America, Birmingham. Additionally, the museum generates positive publicity for our region and attracts visitors to Birmingham from across the country and around the world.

The Discovery and Innovation Motorsports Fund

The Discovery and Innovation Motorsports Fund ensures that education remains a driving force behind everything we do at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. Education has always been central to the museum’s mission, but sustaining and growing impactful programs requires thoughtful, long-term investment. This fund will solidify the museum’s position as a leader in innovative STEM education and provides reliable, ongoing support that allows the museum to expand program capacity and quality, reduce cost barriers for schools, maintain high-quality materials and equipment, support innovation and future learning spaces, and identify pathways for STEM careers.
