The Andy Warhol Museum offers an intriguing and distinctive space for private and corporate functions. Mingle with the celebrities on view at your next event. Whether you are planning an informal dinner for 20, a black-tie awards ceremony for 100, or a cocktail reception for 300, we offer an all-inclusive planning experience. Rentals include event furniture, audio visual, and staffing, and we work with one exclusive catering company to create the perfect menu. Options to add gallery floors, guided tours, and studio activities to your event are available.Two distinctive spaces are offered:

  • First Floor – Entrance Space: The museum’s entrance space has the look and feel of Warhol’s famous factory. Plan a one-of-a-kind * corporate party * wedding reception * awards ceremony, or other special event.
    • Capacity: Seated – 120 / Cocktails – 200
  • The Warhol Theatre: This intimate theater space is ideal for * business meetings * lectures * wedding ceremonies, or * symposia.

Explore the world with us through free admission to our four museums—Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History, Carnegie Science Center, and The Andy Warhol Museum. You make it possible for us to showcase thought-provoking exhibitions, provide educational and outreach programs, care for the permanent collection, and maintain and digitize the expansive archive.

Membership

As a member of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, you’ll have exclusive access to members-only events, enjoy store and café discounts, get free reciprocal admission, and much more. Your membership support makes it possible for 1.4 million people to experience Carnegie Museums each year through education programs, outreach, and exhibitions, and you also help preserve the vast, treasured collections of our four museums.

With seven membership levels, including a monthly payment option, you can find the one designed for you. Levels include: * Senior Membership * Individual Membership * Dual Membership * Family Membership * Premium Membership * Teen Membership, and * Carnegie Connectors (young professionalsages 21 to 40, who have a drive to create a community based on shared interests in art, science, and natural history.) Gift memberships are encouraged!

A gift to Carnegie Museums reaches the community in so many rewarding ways. Join us as we help teach and inspire our region’s school children. Help us bring exhibitions to the region that only Carnegie Museums could bring—the kinds of exhibitions that engage people from all walks in life in the wonders of science, the powerful reach of art in all its forms, the joy of discovery.   • Donations at specified amounts are designated or you may give customize your gifts. Recurring gifts are encouraged. Memorial and Tribute gifts are welcomed. You may choose to apply your gift to any of the Carnegie Museums.
  • LEVELS OF GIVING:
    • Inner Circle Donors include: * Benefactor * Guild, and * Friend.
    • Inner Circle Partons include: * Carnegie Founder’s Society * President’s Society * Director’s Society * Curator’s Society, and * 1895 Society.
  • Does your employer match your gift? Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
  • Gift Planning: Give to the future. You can achieve your own personal financial goals and create a legacy of support for your community. There are a number of giving options that may unlock tax benefits for you all the while brightening the future for Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. Choose the giving method that works best for you! Some examples include:
    • Beneficiary Designations: in your will, life insurance policy, IRA or other retirement plan, U.S. savings bonds, etc.
    • Life Income Gifts: a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust
    • Gifts of Stock or Securities

  • Corporate Giving: Partner with Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh to benefit your business, employees, and the community through sponsorship, Corporate Membership, or the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.
  • Giving Societies:
    • The Fellows of Carnegie Museum of Art are a group of art lovers and aficionados whose tax-deductible gifts provide funds to further the fascinating exhibitions and educational programs of CMOA. Fellows enjoy private exhibition previews with the exhibition curators; annual trips to museums in other cities; visits to the homes of prominent collectors; and lectures by artists, scholars, and other experts.
    • Portrait Society members help support The Warhol’s contemporary exhibition programs, education initiatives, and general operating fund. The group gains behind-the-scenes access to noteworthy exhibitions, art fairs, events, and openings that The Warhol hosts each year.
    • STEM Catalysts bring together leaders in the community who are passionate about supporting and growing STEM education programming at Carnegie Science Center, including traveling outreach programs, science and engineering competitions, and a suite of career exploration programs both onsite at the Science Center and at locations throughout the region. As members of this giving society, STEM Catalysts also gain access to exclusive benefits, including behind-the-scenes experiences, private receptions, sneak-peeks of traveling exhibitions, and networking with Science Center leadership.
    • Carnegie Discoverers support Carnegie Museum of Natural History in promoting its cultural, scientific, and educational missions and in the development of new and larger audiences for the museum.
  • Volunteer / Intern:  Expand your horizons, meet interesting people, and surround yourself with some of civilization’s greatest achievements. Whether you work with the public or behind the scenes, volunteering or interning with one of the four Carnegie Museums offers the opportunity to share your passion, gain work experience in a creative environment, support the community, explore your potential, learn something new, and make new friends.
