Your support helps build a world where craft brings us together. Supporting the American Craft Council makes it possible for us to share artists’ stories in our magazine, create marketplaces that connect people to craft, maintain our one-of-a-kind library, and provide a range of other programs that engage and inspire the field. You have a hand in keeping craft alive. Craft helps us find the common threads that are shared by all humans. It helps us understand and embrace our similarities—and our differences. The American Craft Council celebrates and uplifts the broad diversity of American craft and the artists who build American culture and create pathways between people. With the support of our community, including supporters like you, we advance the value of craft as a cultural icon, connect artists to each other and to collectors, and lift the themes that bind us to one another—with our quarterly magazine, our vibrant website, social media, online and place-based craft weeks, and more. Our Library & Archives also preserve the history of American craft for current and future research and study. Now, more than ever, craft matters. MAKE A DONATION TO SUPPORT OUR NONPROFIT MISSION:

  • Donations may be made in any amounts. Recurring gifts are encouraged. Memorial and Tribute gifts are welcomed.
    • As a “Thank You” to our donors
      • ACC supporters of $100 or higher will receive recognition in our Annual Report
      • Supporters of $1,000 or higher will be invited to the Inspired Circle. In addition to recognition in the Annual Report, donors at this level will be recognized in one issue of American Craft magazine at their giving level and be invited to our ‘”Coffee With the Director” events—engaging, insider conversations with ACC leadership.
      • Supporters of $5,000 or higher will be invited to the Visionary Circle and will receive all of the above-mentioned benefits, and their names will be listed in four issues of American Craft magazine.
  • GIVING STOCK AND APPRECIATED SECURITIES: Giving stock held more than 12 months may offer a two-fold tax savings. First, you may avoid paying capital-gains tax on the increase in the value of your stock. In addition, you may receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock on the date of your gift. Subtracting the tax saving from what you originally paid for the stock can result in a gift that costs just pennies on the dollar. For more information, please consult your financial advisor.
  • PLANNED GIFTS VIA AN ESTATE PLAN OR RETIREMENT ACCOUNT: The easiest form of planned giving is through a bequest or estate plan. Please discuss your wishes with your attorney and/or financial planner.
