The Alexandria Museum of Art needs your support. There are many ways you can donate.

• Business & Corporate Partnership: Businesses and corporations can also support the Alexandria Museum of Art. Your business can be a sponsor of one of our major exhibits. It’s a great way to get the word out about your business and carries many privileges for your employees and clients, including (at certain levels) the option of entertaining in the Alexandria Museum of Art’s beautiful building. Five partnership levels are offered.
• Legacy Society: For those thinking long term, the Legacy Society celebrates those who remember the Museum in their estate plans or make a planned gift. There are many ways to do this through Planned Giving: Naming the Museum in a will; Designating life insurance policy proceeds to the Museum, or by donating an insurance policy; Making Alexandria Museum of Art a beneficiary of a retirement plan, IRA, 401(k), or 403(b); Transferring real estate to Alexandria Museum; of Art through life estate; Promising a gift of work of art that the Museum has agreed to accept.

Volunteer: As a volunteer, you will go behind the scenes to assist our staff in various departments. Whether working at the front desk, on the floor with our guests, or on special events with the staff, our volunteers make an inimitable contribution to the Museum. Volunteering is a great way to meet interesting people, learn new skills, and surround yourself with inspirational art. No matter what your interests, you will find a fun and exciting volunteer opportunity here at the Alexandria Museum of Art. Whether you are a high school or college student, a retired senior or a working adult with the desire to give back to your community, we have opportunities for you! Volunteer positions vary depending on current exhibitions and programming. You can always start in one area and change when appropriate if you desire.
