As a SHOP: Discover unique gifts…

The world-renowned ANMC Craft Shop consigns and commissions works from Alaska Native artists and crafters from every region of Alaska and sells their one-of-a-kind works to hospital visitors. Operated by ANMC Auxiliary volunteers, the Craft Shop uses proceeds from sales to provide important income to the Alaska Native arts community, positively impacts health care delivery at ANMC, consistently brightens the day of our patients by supporting ANMC’s Auxiliary Patient Services, and helps develop the next generation of Alaska Native leaders by fueling the ANMC Auxiliary Scholarship Fund. Location: The Craft Shop at ANMC is located on the first floor of the ANMC hospital, 4315 Diplomacy Drive.

Traditional Native Foods Initiative: Did you know that you can donate hunted and gathered foods to the inpatient food service program at the Alaska Native Medical Center? Traditional foods are healing, nourishing medicine for our people and your donations will be greatly appreciated by our patients at ANMC.

Donations we can accept:

All donated items that are received will be used in their entirety. Any leftover, trim or items deemed “unservable” will be distributed to organizations that will utilize them in animal consumption, and waste will go to local organizations that will use it (i.e. Alaska Zoo, Raptor Rehabilitation, etc.)
