Membership
Membership supports people, planet, and your marketing muscle: With 1% for the Planet membership, your business can achieve its environmental commitments and benefit from increased brand affinity and recognition with our logo. There are three levels of 1% for the Planet membership: * Full Company * Brand Level, and * Product Line. NOTE: Flexible Giving Options–We believe in the power of relationships between businesses and Environmental Partners. Each year, at least half of your giving must be monetary and up to one half of your giving can be in the form of these non-monetary options:
- In-kind donations
- Employee volunteer time
- 1% for the Planet Advertising donations
Donation
Collective action adds up: We generate $13 in impactful, on-the-ground environmental giving from every $1 donation. When you donate to 1% for the Planet, you invest in a future where protecting our planet is the standard for business. Your donation helps us grow our network and drive even more impactful action around the globe.
- Donations at specified amounts are designated or you may customize your gifts. You may donate on behalf of a business, organization, or in memory, honor, or tribute to a special person or occasion. And you may identify support to a specific project or program. Recurring gifts (monthly) are greatly appreciated.
- Donate to the Planet Impact Fund: Start your impact investing journey that supports environmental partners in our network. The Planet Impact Fund is the easiest way to invest in a better future. Donating to the fund puts your dollars toward a pool of capital used to finance clean energy, conservation projects, sustainable agriculture and more.
- Donate your Crypto: Every crypto gift fuels high-impact environmental solutions—and could be your most tax-efficient gift of the year.
- Donor Advised Funds: 1% for the Planet gladly accepts gifts from Donor Advised Funds. We use secure processing to make sure your gift is safely received.
- Planned giving: You can leave a legacy gift to 1% for the Planet in your will. This easy process ensures our planet is in good hands for years to come.
- Donate stock: Donating stock to 1% for the Planet is a simple process. We’ll walk you though it.
- Qualified charitable distributions (QCD): Use your IRA to make tax-free gifts that benefit you and 1% for the Planet.
