Some of our spaces include The Mariah Gallery, the Great Western Hotel, the Occident Saloon, and the Long Branch Saloon. Most of our spaces are available from 7am to 12am – allowing plenty of time for your guests to enjoy a great event AND explore our unique museum! Self guided museum tours are open to all guests of any event and we are thrilled to offer onsite catering for your food and beverage needs. Our Boot Hill Museum’s Long Branch Variety Show has become the nation’s longest-running seasonal theatrical production, and includes our famous Country Style dinner served just before the show.

Our mission is centered on reflecting the distinctive and rich heritage of Dodge City through engaging exhibits, robust educational programs, and historically themed entertainment.

The continued operation of our museum and our ongoing efforts to preserve the remarkable Wild West history of Dodge City, Kansas, are made possible through the generosity of our supporters. Donations help us continue our mission of keeping Dodge City’s history alive. Financial donations can be made online through our website or in person at our gift shop. Volunteer

The Boot Hill Museum environment provides a setting in which volunteers can expand on interests, knowledge base, and meet interesting people. The goal is to provide guests with a favorable experience and accurate and engaging information about Dodge City’s heritage. Volunteers provide program support by being a needed source of talent and expertise!

The Board of Directors and staff will endeavor to utilize volunteers’ energy, talent, skills, and interests to enhance Museum operations, services, programs and special events. We offer volunteer roles in any department! We often need volunteers when it comes to our events and especially during our summer seasons.
