Be a DONOR: Show that you care…

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis, and nearly every CF-specific drug available today was made possible with our financial support. We are a donor-funded, 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is fully accredited by the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) Wise Giving Alliance program.

Donations:

Donations in specified amounts are designated or you may customize your gift. Monthly donations are encouraged and you may give in honor and in memory.

  • Honorary and Memorial Gifts
  • Legacy Gifts: Leave a lasting reflection of your values by making a legacy gift to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in your will, trust, or by beneficiary designation. The Foundation is dedicated to working with donors who are considering or who have made plans to leave a gift in their will, trust, or by beneficiary designation. Your gift can be made in honor or memory of someone and deepens your commitment to improving the lives of those with CF now and in the future. You can also become a member of the Paul di Sant’ Agnese Legacy Society.
  • Donor-Advised Funds: You can direct that your donor-advised charitable fund be distributed, in full, to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation after your lifetime. Or, you can name specific charities and choose a dollar or percentage amount to be distributed over a certain time, or until the account balance becomes zero.
  • Stock or Other Securities: Make a gift of appreciated stock or other types of securities.
  • IRA Donation: Make a gift through your IRA and see significant tax savings while satisfying all or part of your RMD up to $100,000.
  • Matching Gifts: Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees.
  • Make a Major Gift:  You are an important part of our progress. With your support we are confident that someday, not one person will lose a child, sibling, parent, or friend to cystic fibrosis. You have an opportunity in your lifetime to be part of ending this disease. Please consider joining us and help make medical history.  Within our portfolio of giving opportunities, the CF Foundation relies on major gifts from individuals and family foundations that directly support our mission. You can participate by giving an outright gift of $10,000 or more in any calendar year, or by making a pledge to be paid over three to five years.
  • Foundation Giving: Support our mission with a grant: We welcome support from private, corporate, and family foundations. Explore opportunities to support our innovative research and care programs and find alignment with your philanthropic goals. Grants can be given in support of our mission through fundraising events and the annual fund campaign. Grants of $10,000 and above can be restricted to specific programs.
  • Property Donations: The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation also gratefully accepts donations of valuable property, including real estate, privately-held stock, or other assets.
  • Vehicle Donations: Support the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by donating your used car or truck.

Volunteer: As a volunteer, you’ll join thousands of people across the country who are helping add tomorrows to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis.
