As a VENUE: Host your event…

The MIMMS Museum is not just a place to explore history, it is a dynamic venue for events and gatherings. Whether you’re hosting a * corporate meeting, a * training session a * product announcement, or a * special celebration, our event spaces provide flexibility for event design. One of North Fulton’s largest event venues, our adaptable event spaces can accommodate smaller groups and groups of up to 450 guests with or without a museum visit. Catering options range from your favorite caterer, local restaurants, or recommended caterers. Alcohol is provided exclusively by the museum as it holds a GA Alcoholic Beverage License. Accommodating space allows for creative event design. Our event spaces are configured so that it’s easy to add space to your event in a variety of combinations to meet the needs of your event and budget. It’s possible to book initial space and add additional space(s) later as your event evolves and/or attendee numbers increase. A museum visit can also be added as part of your event to attract attendees or to enhace their experience. Unique spaces available include:

  • Gravity Ballroom: Includes the use of a back-of-house Catering Prep Space, the Ready Room (a small green room space that can be used for a variety of needs), and the Event Manager Office. Garage doors provide easy flow if you are combining with the Rotunda and/or a museum visit. 9,500 SF / CAPACITY: * Cocktail Reception: 450 people * Seated Dinner: 350 people * Seated Dinner with Dance floor and/or games: 100-200 People.
  • Rotunda: This space is inside the museum and has several contained exhibits on display. Ideal for small receptions or presentations with theater seating. It can also be an annex for buffets to maximize seating in the ballroom when the museum is not open. 3,100 SF / Capacity: 24-160 People.
  • Classrooms: Ideal for a training session, business meeting, workshop,board meeting,seated meal, or other event where you need your attendees focused,orif you need space for a small group to gather informally. 950 SF / Capacity: 12-60 People.
  • Silicon Gallery: This space, just outside the two classrooms and the museum entrance, is a great location for standing receptionsand check-in for large events in conjunctionwith other rooms or on its own (during non-operating hours). Rotating exhibits are on display. 2,800 SF / Capacity: up to 100 People.
  • Grand Hall: This pre-function space outside the ballrooms is ideal for receptions in conjunction with an event in the ballroom, poster sessions, or table-top expos like a job fair or vendor expo. 4,500 SF / Capacity: up to 350 People.
  • Museeum Access: Offered as an optional add-on to event space rental, or as a stand-alone for groups of 10 or more, depending on the day and time. Looking at the artifacts on display sparks conversation and makes for a fun and memorable event. 35,000 SF / Capacity: up to 350 People.

Venue Details:  Ample parking spaces for your guests, or you can choose to use a valet service, contact us for valet recommendations * Ideal location in the heart of Roswell, GA, and only 20 miles from downtown Atlanta. * Ability to expand your event by booking a private theatre at the adjacent cineplex, or add minature golf( on two adjacent courses) to your event. * The venue rental spaces can easily be transformed to fit any theme or layout to suit the needs of your event, * Recommendation to vendors with experience working in the space(s) can be provided.

Specified amounts are designated or you may customize your gift. Monthly gifts are encouraged. You may donate on behalf of a business, organization, or in honor of someone. As a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, the CMoA relies on your generosity. Donors are essential in fulfilling the museum’s goal to ensure these assets are available for study, education, exhibition, and to encourage economic and vocational empowerment. Funding will also enable STEAM related programs for students across K-12, Community Colleges, Universities, and the New-Collar professions of the 21st Century.
