Established over 40 years ago, Feed the Children is one of the leading anti-hunger organizations.

We dare to envision a world where no child goes to bed hungry. To help create that world, we are dedicated to helping families and communities achieve stable lives and to reducing the need for help tomorrow – all while providing food and assistance to help them today.

In the United States we distribute product donations of food and other items from corporate donors through our network of local community partners, we provide classroom support and school supplies to students in vulnerable areas, and we mobilize resources quickly to aid recovery efforts when natural disasters strike.

Internationally, we manage child-focused community development programs that focus on reducing hunger and malnutrition, teaching health and promoting self-reliance in 8 countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin American.

We welcome partnerships because we know that our work would not be possible without collaborative relationships. We seek to connect donors, partners, experts, volunteers, leaders and communities to raise awareness about childhood hunger and make it a thing of the past. That’s something we can only do together.

Teacher Stores

We believe education is the best way to help break the cycle of poverty. But without the proper tools for learning, students face overwhelming odds. Because teachers are so passionate about ensuring their students’ success, many reach into their own pockets to provide educational materials, spending an average of $500 per year to provide students with the tools needed to succeed.

Feed the Children supports students by inviting teachers to shop for free classroom supplies and books at one of our five Teacher Store locations. These stores benefit more than 525,000 students across the country each school year.

Making a difference for hungry children can take many different forms. In fact, it’s going to take all kinds of people contributing in a variety of ways to create a world without childhood hunger. But no matter which one you choose, the key is to take action. We want you to take this journey with us!

Donations:

Vulnerable children and families continue to struggle. You can make a difference. Each dollar of your gift will provide $9 of food and vital essentials for children and families here in the U.S. and around the world. Specified amounts are designated or you may customize your gift. Monthly gifts are encouraged. Memorial and tribute gifts are always welcomed.

Sponsor a Child: Change begins with you — Sponsor today! When you sponsor a child for just $34 a month, you are saying yes to a child who lacks the basic necessities of life. Not only will the child benefit but so will their family and community!
Personal Fundraising: Starting a Fundraiser is Easy! People just like you have campaigned for causes they believe in and have done some pretty amazing things. And they’re thinking of new things to do every day. What will you do? Setting up a campaign is easier then you think. Pick a cause and a name. Then fill out a little information on why it needs funding.
Sponsor a Community Event: Community Outreach Events are the foundation of Feed the Children and are where you actually see the impact of fundraising. There is no better way to fully experience Feed the Children than when our food, essentials and dignity boxes are in the hands of children and their families. Plus, we are able to reach more communities due to our numerous community partner relationships throughout the world. You can impact the lives of families by sponsoring a full community event that goes to benefit the families in a specific area. Through your work with our Corporate Partner team, together, you can identify an area most in need and watch your donation be put to work.
Join the Table: The table is where you gather to share meals, ideas and the events of your day. It’s where you make plans and collaborate to achieve a common goal. Take a seat at The Table and join our passionate community of monthly givers determined to end childhood hunger. People like you, giving any thing they can to collectively impact childhood hunger in the U.S. and around the world. Create and host your own personal Table and invite your friends, family, coworkers – or anyone – to join with you to prove that, together, we can make sure no child goes to bed hungry.
Donate Cryptocurrency: By donating cryptocurrency you can help hungry kids. Through our cryptocurrency fundraising relationships with The Giving Block and Gemini Trust Exchange, we can accept multiple cryptocurrencies. Please consult with your financial planner to determine your tax benefits.
