- Join The Spring: The Spring is a passionate and determined group of monthly givers on a mission to end the water crisis in our lifetime. People like you, from more than 100 countries around the world, giving anything they can to prove how unstoppable we are when we work together. Join our community of monthly donors bringing clean water to people in need. Specified amounts are designated or you may give an amount of your choice. You may also consider donating in honor of someone important to you.
- Honor Someone Special: Honor or remember someone special by making a gift in their name.
- Donate by Check: Make checks payable to charity: water. If you’re donating in honor of someone, sponsoring a water project or want to direct your donation to our operating costs, please write that in the memo of your check.
- Give to a Campaign: Financial support contributed to individuals whose lives have been adversely impacted by unsafe drinking water.
- Sponsor a Community: Sponsor a water project. 100% funds clean water. Our water project costs vary depending on project type, geography, and local economies. On average, projects start at $10,000 and can cost $25,000 or more. Once you’ve made your gift, we’ll pair it with an appropriate project (or projects).
- Sponsor a Water Project: 100% of your gift funds clean water. By sponsoring a water project, you’ll bring clean water to an entire community or school. On average, projects start at $10,000 and can cost $25,000 or more depending on the location and project type. Once you’ve made your gift, a member of our team will be in touch to allocate it to an appropriate project.
- Fundraise: Starting a campaign is easy. Once your campaign is set up, tell everyone about it. The more people you tell, the quicker you’ll reach your goal. Then sit back and watch the donations to clean water projects roll in. After your campaign is over, we’ll send 100% of what you raise directly to the field. We’ll keep track of where it goes. Then, we’ll report back to you with info about the actual people your money helps.
- Brand Partnerships: We work closely with our Brand Partners to develop mutually-beneficial fundraising campaigns, co-branded merchandise, media, and experiences that have an incredible impact on the world.
- Donate with Cryptocurrency: We currently accept bitcoin, ether, litecoin, bitcoin cash, Zcash, filecoin, and dogecoin.
- Give to the Bitcoin Water Trust: Our exponential growth fund will hold all donated bitcoins until at least 2025.
- Donate Stock: We’re able to accept donations in the form of stock, government (including municipal) debt and corporate debt through the Depository Trust Company (DTC).
- AmazonSmile: Support charity: water through AmazonSmile to have 0.5% of the price from eligible purchases donated. The first $10,000 raised from AmazonSmile each quarter funds a clean water project for a community in need, and the rest fuels our operations to help charity: water’s work grow and scale.
- Shop to Support Clean Water: Purchase with purpose! Profits from the charity: water store fund our operating costs and help us grow.
- Legacy Giving: The Tributary is a community of givers who are making clean water part of their lasting legacy. By planning a future gift to charity: water, members of The Tributary help ensure that our work will continue until every person on the planet has access to clean water.
- A gift in your will: Whether you designate a specific amount or leave a percentage of your estate, your legacy gift will empower charity: water’s continued work.
