FIKA is ASI’s Nordic-inspired café in the American Swedish Institute. With the historic Turnblad Mansion in full view, guests dining at FIKA can choose from a seasonal menu dedicated to regional ingredients and New Nordic cuisine. The Swedish tradition of fika is both a daily break and a national institution, usually involving coffee, pastries and social conversation. In warm weather, dine outdoors on one of the best patios in the Twin Cities and take in the Turnblad Mansion’s courtyard gardens. Walk-ins are welcome for all groups. Indoor and outdoor tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please plan to pay with a credit or debit card. Gift cards are available for purchase.
