The National Automobile Museum welcomes receptions and banquets as intimate as 20 and as large as 2,000. Located in downtown Reno just a few blocks from many of the major casinos, the Museum is an ideal location with free parking. With an array of exceptional vehicles, cleverly-designed period street settings, vintage clothing displays, and much more, visitors are transported back into the sights and sounds of the past. Housing 225 meticulously preserved automobiles amidst period street scenes within a sprawling 105,000 sq. ft. space, our museum stands as a testament to innovation and style. Five distinctive spaces are available:

• Gallery Four: Immerse yourself in the glamour age as you step into Gallery 4, our premier event space boasting 12,000 sq. ft. of versatile elegance. Here, history and luxury converge amidst a breathtaking collection of Classic and Hollywood cars, setting the stage for unforgettable moments.
  • Accommodating up to 300 seated guests or 600 standing guests
  • Hollywood red carpet photo step and repeat area
  • Complete with a large stage, two dynamic video walls, and an LED center screen with podiums and microphones
  • Tables and Chairs for up to 250 guests are included in your event space rental
• Museum Streets: Party in the Streets:
  • Host your guests on our streets and throughout the galleries!
  • Enjoy our life-size displays: a hardware store here, a movie theatre there, all with accompanying artifacts and sounds from different eras.
  • You receive access to all Museum Gallery
• Riverfront Pavilion:
  • The longest riverfront venue in Reno, spanning an expansive 16,000 sq. ft.
  • 40ft outdoor bar and prep area for food & beverage service
  • Patio 1 can hold 100 people for a seated dinner and 200 for a cocktail reception
  • Patio 2 can hold 450 people for a seated dinner and 600 for a cocktail reception
  • Five gas firepits with enchanting market lighting
  • Comfortable Adirondack chairs and high cocktail tables for relaxed mingling
• Museum Theatre:
  • Step into a realm of immersive storytelling and unparalleled audiovisual experiences at our Museum Theatre.
  • Our theatre sets the stage for flawless presentations, dynamic performances, and unforgettable events. From corporate training and meetings to stage plays and private movie nights, the possibilities are endless.
  • Be captivated by the brilliance of our expansive 10×19 high-definition screen, where every detail springs to life with breathtaking clarity and depth. Equipped with top-of-the-line audiovisual equipment, including sound systems and lighting setup
  • The Theatre accommodates 157 guests
• Changing Exhibits Gallery: Our Changing Exhibits Gallery is an ideal venue for intimate gatherings. With stunning windows that frame views of our scenic patios and flood the space with natural light, it creates a delightful setting for cocktail receptions or small luncheons and dinners.
  • Accommodating up to 70 for a seated dinner or 125 for a cocktail reception, the gallery is equipped with a large video wall and overhead sound for a seamless event experience. Many guests will use this space as a cocktail reception before a speaker or movie in our Theater!

Membership at specified levels are offered: General (10 distinct levels are available) and * Driving Force (3 distinct levels are available)

Contributions from our community and car lovers worldwide made this Museum possible back in 1989. Since then, we have consistently ranked as one of the Top Three “Things to Do in Reno.” Our Museum is known nationally and internationally as one of the country’s Top Ten automobile collections, with many one-of-a-kind vehicles. Please help us preserve our great local asset and allow us to maintain our high standards by again pledging your support to our Annual Giving Campaign at whatever level you can afford. Specific amounts are designated or you may customize your gift.

Volunteer: The Museum has terrific volunteers and we are very thankful for their generosity and thoughtfulness. Volunteers share their skills, form lasting friendships, and make our time at the Museum enjoyable and rewarding. The National Automobile Museum (The Harrah Collection) is always looking for people to join its volunteer team.
